is the Tap already fitted on the waterbutt or do i have to drill hole and fit it?

The tap hole is pre drilled so you can just screw the tap in. You have to drill out the one for the over flow pipe thou.

Does the butt have a 3/4" or 1" hole for the tap, please?

3/4 BSP - I swapped out the tap for a hoselock-style tap and it screwed straight in. Worth having a second washer on it though.

Hi, can you connect a hose to this and does it come out of the hose as powerful as normal?

You can, you can even buy a hozelock-type tap to make that easier (3/4” BSP fitting). However, you won’t get anything like the pressure of mains, and it will get worse as the barrel empties. It is enough for a soaker hose straight off it though.

Do you collect water from the top - or drill one of the side holes out? Looks different to others where the rainwater goes in from side? thx

Through a hole near the top at the side. The hole is marked and you drill it out and then link up to water trap on your down pipe.
