Roller Blind Fittings Replacement Repair Kit 25mm Child Safe Spare

Bought this to replace the fittings that came with a blind from B&Q. To be fair, it was on sale as discontinued and when I opened the package I learned why. The roller mechanism was all plastic and very flimsy, sure enough it jammed after one use, then fell apart when pulled on.The blind itself was fine, so this replacement set came to the rescue. Fitted no problem, just remember to measure the diameter of the roller, and certainly seems to be sturdy enough for daily use.

Excellent product. I thought I would have to buy a new blind when the old pully wheel broke, but then I found these. Now my blind works better than it did when it was new. These were fitted in 10 minutes and are a much better and more user friendly design than the original fittings that came with the blind. Highly recommended.

The old adage 'you get what you pay for' is very apt for this product. It is a cheap quality item but it did the job. It is supposed to be 25mm (the diamater of the pipe for the roller, but when attached both ends had a loose fitting. Once it was up it was ok as each end is pushed in during the installation. Someone else mentioned that the side holes on the brackets are not punched out, so I had to get the drill out to make those holes as I needed to use those holes so the bracket was facing the correct way. I also had to pad out one of the bracket ends as they were not the same design as our old ones. So a bit of a faff to get it installed but a cheap product which does the job.

Bought this on the off chance that it might work - and it does, perfectly. Great value!

When I read the Q&As the seller clearly stated this will fit all 25mm roller blinds; well it doesn't fit mine. The roller blind I have is not perfectly round inside the roller tube, it has a "bulge" which I imagine is to prevent the tube spinning on the fitting. The fitting supplied is circular with fins and does not work with my blind. Luckily I only needed the hanging brackets which fit with the old fittings.Therefore, this does not work with all 25mm roller blinds. Please check whether your roller blind is a perfect circle inside before ordering, if it is, this will work.

We bought a blind from a well known store and the roller mechanism was none functional.As this is lock down and I had already cut the item to size, I either went 10 miles to return the defunct item (They had no more stock) or bought a replacement. Really pleased with this one and the blind is now in place and doing a great job of keeping the sun out of the room at 4.30 in the morning!

My daughter had an IKEA blind that matched her duvet cover and storage boxes. It looked great but the mechanism didn't work properly in the blind meaning it would no longer go up and down. This fixed her blind and gave it a new lease of life and meant we could carry on using the blind that matched the rest of her room and saving us the cost of purchasing a new blind. It was easy to fit and works perfectly. Very pleased with the purchase and would definitely recommend it

Several years ago we bought a blackout roller blind from Ikea. It came with a beaded string to raise and lower it. This gave up the ghost last week so I bought this. It came with fittings for both ends, the spigot end and the beaded string end. The beaded string bracket supplied with the Ikea blind had to be swapped for the one in this kit, a simple matter of undoing the two screws holding it to the wall. Otherwise i pulled out the broken part and replaced it with the new one. It was a bit stiff to operate the first couple of times but it has now loosened off and is working fine.
