Huawei Honor 9 SIM-Free Smartphone - Blue

I bought this after my HTC One M8 finally died, this is the first time I've ever bought a phone without seeing it in real life but it was worth it. It's a beautiful phone, I love the way the light reacts with the blue. It's brand new and it comes in it's original box just like you'd get from a store, with a clear case (it's plastic but quite flexible) which is needed because it does attract fingerprints and could scratch (there are ear phones too). The charger is one of those newer chargers so the older USBs won't fit in it, but I don't mind; I'm sure Samsung and other big names have upgraded their charger too). The home button on the phone is a fingerprint scanner. The phone has lots of Smart Assistance controls that you can have fun with, also there are some apps that you probably won't want but you CAN delete most of them so that frees up storage space. It has space for 2 SIM cards, but I just use 1 and put micro SD card in the other. The dual cameras are so sharp, the picture I've attached was taken with the front camera and I've added some of the special effects that you can play around with. Only thing that might niggle some people is when you put the phone down on a table for example, it can slide around so be careful and put that case on it straight away. I have Prime so mine arrived the next day with no problems.

I needed to get a new Phone as my iPhone 6 Plus had bent, and to be honest I had enough of Apple, too expensive and redistrict in what you can and cannot do. I wanted to move from apple and being a tech lover, I deiced to do a lot of research into Android phones, concluding that this phone is is the best for price, for many reason. One of them being the extremely fast performance with a Kirin 960 processor,4GB or 6GB of RAM & 64GB ROM. Additionally the features are awesome. I would certain say a lot more freedom to make the phone yours rather than apple phones, with features including: 4K camera and many photo settings like RAW photos Pro Photos, pro video, Light painting, Night Shots, Very good HDR (A good camera is something I require being a photographer for quick stories on Instagram and posts on other social media platforms) Instant finger print scanner Widgets for Apps Transitions for screen swiping Eye comfort mode Screen recording Google Assist 3.5mm Jacket (LOL) type C cable charging Extendable storage Dual Sim And many many more features. Additionally the styling is very appealing, the back is awesome,a bit of a finger print magnet and a little bit slippy, but if you are like me and use a case you'll be fine. Speaking of cases the phone comes with a case for the back of the phone to address this slight issue. There are few disadvantages Little bezels, but is not very noticeable for me at least There is no video stabilisation for 4K but is for 1080p Thats about it. Overall, a solid phone, with a brilliant price tag, I've had the phone just over a month and it is for me one of the best phones on the market. Hope this has helped You.

It is a very good product! I am very surprised. I didn't expect it when I bought it as the price is quite low for a smartphone. The aspect is very nice and the quality of the exterior parts seems very good. Nice tact. If useful please vote helpful review!!! The fingerprint works better than with my last phone (it was a Huawei). It has 3 cameras, one at the front and 2 at the back. The quality of the pictures is actually very good! In left some pictures there so you can see. It has for 2 sim cards!! Or one sim card and one memory card The only thing that I do not like is the battery, it lasts normally during all day but if you use it more than normal then it might not be enough. I use the phone for the normal things, so I find it a very good phone for that kind of use NEGATIVE PART: THE CAMERA IS VERY SLOW! Since you open the camera until you can press the bottom to take a picture it takes more than normal. I recommend it, very surprised!

*AESTHETIC* This looks like a phone that looks like it might be owned by a nightclub owner. It has shiny blue finish that looks very sleek. The volume rocker is positioned just above the power button, which has led to me accidentally turning off the phone instead of turning down the volume. The speaker is positioned on the bottom and projects well. The dual camera lens is positioned on the right hand side of the phone - aesthetically this works without problem but a few times that because I am right handed my fingers will stray into the line of vision of the camera when taking a photo. Left handed users might have a slightly better experience with the camera. *BUILD* The phone is very light overall. Tough gorilla grass is on the front and back of the phone. It feels strong enough, but because of the gorilla glass on the back the phone feels a bit slippy - I would recommend a low profile case to go with this. USER INTERFACE The latest EMUI is very user friendly and it has come a long way since earlier versions. Its extremely fast and responsive even after months of use. The interface is probably more akin to what iPhone users might be used to and this might be a good bridge phone for those converting from iphone to android. CAMERA This is one of the highlights of this phone. The camera has been exceptional in low-light settings with the option of night mode. The camera interface is really simple to use and you can quickly customise your shots in a matter of seconds once you've played around with the settings. I think this is the phone feature that will really make you fall in love with this phone - from pre-processing right down to the end image this has all the features I am realistically going to use for everyday needs, the odd night out here and there and day trips out. BATTERY The battery lasts 24 hours for most everyday usage. With gaming and youtube frequently that comes down to 16-18 hours. I haven't noticed this phone heat up as much as the Honor 8 used to - perhaps the gorilla glass interferes with heat dissipation. CALL QUALITY The call quality has always been excellent on this phone and better than my previous phone the OnePlus 3.

Very good phone. Quality build, great design and lots of features. Wasn't overly fussed about the glass back, as light catching as it is. The phone was always going inside a case for protection anyway. It does come with a basic clear case if you still want to enjoy / show off the funky back though. Excellent Cameras, two on the back and one on the front. The screen is big enough - at 5.15 inches that's fine. Anymore just seems too big to handle if you ask me. Plenty of ROM (64GB) and 4GB RAM is also more than enough. It can take two sims or one plus a micro SD card. Also liked that while it came with a load of apps / games installed there was no issues at all in deleting the ones I didn't want / will never use. Been stuck with Sony and Samsung phones previously, both of which came packed with "bloatware" you could not wipe! For the money this is a great phone, not so easy to get hold of at present but hopefully there will be more around soon. Look out for deals too!

I've been on Samsung and iphone for as long as I can remember so was looking to upgrade. The price they are asking for the new phones is absolutely ridiculous and I wasn't prepared to pay it. I could buy a car that would last me 5 years for the same price. I had been looking at the one plus 5 for a long time but even they are starting to ask silly prices for the latest flagship. I did my research and opted for the grey honor 9. I love the phone. The fingerprint scanner is the best I've ever seen. It is so fast. The camera is superb. In fact I cannot find fault with it anywhere. The battery gives me more than I'm used to and charges really quickly. Even the music sounds better than the Samsung phone. This phone need's a cover on it right away though because it is a fingerprint magnet. I opted for the clear silicon case so you could still see that styled back cover. Although it does actually come with a clear cover, but it's plastic not rubber so it scratches easily. You really have to weigh up what you want from a phone and how much you are prepared to pay for it. For me the sacrifice of wireless charging and a slightly better camera didn't warrant the extra 3-4 hundred pounds for the latest Sammy or iPhone. The phone zips through everything you throw at it and then some. If you are thinking of buying a new phone but aren't prepared to pay silly money this is a serious alternative.

I decided to upgrade from my Nexus phone & was going to go for the Google pixel 2 but at £600 plus this put me off. Did my research & decided on the Honor 9 & not disappointed. The phone is excellent & at nearly half the price. The spec on the phone is mind blowing for the price, puts the likes of Samsung to shame. Once I had installed all my apps & taking into account the installed software by Honor (bit of bloatware) I'm left with approx 42gb free space. But I love Android devices. I save photos etc on google drive so this is fine. Must admit I have just set the phone up so not tried the camera yet but it will be fine for me. I honestly can't fault the phone, it looks stunning & looks a more expensive phone, but would advise to get a case as the phone is so shiny it does slide when put down on certain surfaces. In a nutshell.... Fabulous.

Well so far I love this phone. Its fast, sleek and does everything I want and more. The photos are truely gorgeous and look like its been taken by a dslr camera, giving a great depth of field. The operating system is great and although similar to the samasung set up, I actually prefer this one. The only slight negative I can find is low light photos are not as good as on the S8. But thats a phone considerably more expensive and really does not warrent the extra cost. This phone great you will not be disapointed and more likely to question why in the past you may have forked out so much money for a great phone!! Love it !!
