Best blister prevention I’ve ever used
I’ve always suffered from blisters from walking and running and tried various socks and plasters to varying degrees of success. This stuff is brilliant. It actually works. I ran 30k at the weekend in the hills and not a single blister. Game changer for me.

Excellent product somewhat awkward to use.
Certainly did the job in a recent 24 hour run (Equinox 24) with no blisters at all when combined with twin skin socks. 4 stars due to how awkward it is to get it where you need it. You can't apply like talcum powder due to the greasiness and the fact that it clumps. Filling your sock and shaking it works reasonably but if you have a specific hotspot it is quite awkward.

For blister-free running buy this!
This is an absolutely fantastic product which I wish I had discovered years ago. After several marathons over the years and invariably a blister or two, I decided, at the age of 68 to do my first ultra - 53.5 miles. Not only did I complete the distance but I finished completely blister free - not even a hint of a blister. The product recommends that you liberally apply the powder to to the insides of your socks, which I did, but I also applied it directly to my feet. For anyone thinking about buying this product I would heartily endorse it. You won't be sorry.

It worked for me
My walking boots had started giving me blisters on my heels for no apparent reason. I tried the Engo patches in my boots which worked, but made them feel 1/2 size too small. I bought this powder more in hope than expectation, but it's been brilliant. It looks just like talcum powder, but is actually powdered wax and PTFE. Whatever is in it worked for me.Each year we take a party of scouts hill walking, and every year there would be blisters. After using this and showing them how to lace their boots properly we haven't had a single one!I don't think you need anywhere near a scoop full, just a sprinkling in each sock especially where you might expect rubbing to occur. Using more than that would risk it clumping together. It's worth paying extra for the tub with built-in sprinkler rather than the pouch, and top that up later with the cheaper pouch.

Jury's out
I used this for my 50km ultramarathon and didn't have the slightest hint of a blister. Then the next time I used it for a walk of about 10 miles and I got some of the worst blisters I've had in a long while. The 'powder' has an odd texture - it feels slightly greasy or oily. When I used it for the walk I initially thought I had something in my sock but it was just the powder which had formed a bit of a clump. It also seems to work its way out of my socks very easily - it ends up forming a slightly gooey layer on the insoles of my shoes. The little scoop that comes with it is terrible - the powder just gets stuck in it and can't be tipped out. I'm tempted to think that if you're going to get blisters then you're going to get blisters and this can't do much to stop that.

Good product
I was somewhat sceptical but the idea resonated with me. Used this for a hundred mile walk over five days. Kept my feet in good condition, the only interesting side effect was when it came to washing my socks. Next time I will hand rinse in cold water before putting in the washing machine.

Pretty good
Ok so I have been having issues with heal blisters. Today I went out with my feet taped up with strapple zinc oxide tape bridgedale coolmax liner socks and bridgedale trekker socks in altberg boots with sorbothane insoles. I put this in each liner sock and in both top socks and rubbed on to the tape on my heals. Changed socks at 7 miles and added more powder. No blisters. But it is expensive. On the way back I was going for it and still no blisters so it clearly works.
