I was looking for a smaller version of the ubiquitous Rubbermaid 32-Gallon version of the Brute to use as a dust collection bin (specifically, to use it with a Thien separator... Google it if you're interested), and this fit the bill. Because it's a little smaller, I have an easier time tucking this bin away underneath a desk or a bench, and it seems as rugged as its bigger brother. The shade of white is also a nice touch. However, the trash bin's mouth was out-of-round when I received it, like it was squashed during the packing or shipping process. It would be a problem if you needed to use a lid with it, or if your project depends on the bin being round (like mine did). Fortunately, the Brute is a bit flexible, and I was also able to heat it up with a heatgun (though I imagine a blowdryer would also work) and bend it back into shape.

Perfect size to store next to my outdoor faucet for my hose, and different nozzles, extra washers, plumbers tape, etc. I ordered a lid for it and it's perfect. Sturdy, water-proof, and doesn't blow over in thunderstorms. Very easy to coil my hose into and protects it from the strong Florida sun on the west side of my house.
