Perfectly adequate sphygmomanometer.

I have a personal dislike of the electronic BP monitors as they always seem to give readings which fluctuate wildly between two readings taken 2 minutes apart! On receiving this kit, I was pleased to find a nice black zippered fabric case, some basic instructions and the BP monitor itself. You will need a stethoscope to use this (which is not included.) Put the cuff round the arm and you're ready to go. Gives very accurate consecutive readings and I'm really happy to recommend this to anyone fed up with having their blood supply cut off by one of the electronic monitors which seem to take an absolute AGE to go down and leave you with a dead arm. I was trained to use a sphygmomanometer years ago, but the premise is really simple and explained in the little booklet. I'm certainly happy to use this to keep an eye on my husband's BP without worrying if the readings are accurate or not. I've only tried this monitor on other people, but I suppose you could take it yourself if you pump with the cuffed arm. Great item for a great price.

Best customer service. I bought this about one year ago and it was really useful and accurate . I use it daily at my work as GP. Last few days, something wrong with my bulb and valve . I cannot check the blood pressures due to that . I contacted mdf customer team through amazon and they replied instantly with link to apply for replacement. Within 5 days , I got the new one as replacement.I am really satisfied with the mdf customer service and the quality of this instrument is really good value. I totally recommend this. 👍👍👍

Buyers should be aware that while this is a very professional piece of kit, very well made and probably very accurate, I suspect that even medics would find it difficult to take their own blood pressure reading with this. But if you think you can do it and you are not a medic be aware that you will need a stethoscope to use it. I will attempt to donate mine to the doctor I see at the hospital when I visit next month.

Accurate

Product arrived in time and seems to work very well. Came in a little zip pouch of its own too so handy for storage. Had a minor issue with the needle stopping at 5 mm Hg rather than at zero when fully de-pressurised, but customer services were very prompt and helpful in sorting that out.

Reasonable price. Does the job! However, for Pro work cuff should be better quality.

Purchased for a nursing student. This is durable and accurate. For the cost, it is definitely worth it. We tested it against other similar products and an electric BP monitor and found it to be very accurate.
