ok as a starter kit.

Wrong sticks, dampers missing
Arrived with wrong sticks (regular drum sticks rather than the timbales sticks pictured) and without the promised damper pads. (Mounting instructions would've been nice, too.) Don't want to return the lot just for that. I just want the stuff I expected. But return/replacement seems the only available recourse...

These are fine if you want to learn the technique- but the stand and fixings are not that robust- I do intend to gig with these occasionally so I will get back to you, but at the price, I'm not complaining. Nice bell too, and proper tuning really helps.

Why do you need expensive timbales?
I wanted to have a set of timbales to add onto my drumkit and to play some latin stuff with them. But I am very short on cash so I needed a cheap pair. These are perfect easy to set up and the cowbells really nice, well worth it if your like me. I'm a grade 6 drummer and I'm just begging to learn different percussion so these are brilliant for me :)
