I had an issue when I seen the unlock code hand written, att was confused I contacted the seller he quickly responded with the answer it’s only for noon att customers which I thought could only be used with att. It works great great service great seller!

Edit: Do Not buy from here!!! I had to buy another one from a different company. AT&T would not provide service as the device is reported stolen. Sooo my internet stoped working. Took it into ATT and the item has been flagged as stolen. I have had it since September 2021 when I bought it. So now I don’t have internet service because it’s been marked as stolen! Don’t buy from here!

I received my Netgear Nighthawk Hotspot with a dead battery. It's a rip off. I'm desperate to have a hotspot so rather than wait yet again for a return/delivery time it would take, I just went ahead and ordered a new battery. I would like to be compensated. Am curious to see if I get a response here.

Ich hatte mir den "Netgear Nighthawk M1 MR1100-100EUS" gekauft, weil ich keine Bastellösung haben wollte. Sollte einfach nur funktionieren.Aufgrund der günstigen Datenpreise, nutze ich eine SIM mit einem O2-Free-Tarif.Scheinbar ist aber das Gerät nicht mit allen SIM von O2 kompatibel. Die SIM wird von dem Gerät nicht erkannt, was dazu führt, dass die automatische Konfiguration der APN nicht klappt. Man muss nach jedem Neustart die APN wieder komplett neu eingeben. Wenn man die APN dann neu eingegeben hat, funktioniert die Datenverbindung durchaus akzeptabel. Allerdings ist das so nicht praxistauglich.Man möchte so ein Gerät ja einfach rausholen, hinlegen und surfen. Man möchte doch nicht erst wieder hier und da was konfigurieren.Ich habe es getestet mit 3 verschiedenen O2-SIM, welche sich in den letzten 2 Jahren so angesammelt haben - Vertrag und Prepaid. Alle O2-SIM (2x direkt O2 und einmal Netzclub) zeigen dieses Verhalten.Problemlos klappt es nur mit einer Prepaid-SIM von Pennymobil, bzw. Vodafone. Diese werden direkt erkannt und der APN automatisch eingetragen. Hier ist das Gerät dann durchaus verwertbar. Allerdings habe ich bei diesen beiden Anbietern keinen Datentarif, welcher für einen Hotspot genug Datenvolumen hat - zu teuer.Im Netz war zu lesen, dass es eine BETA-Firmware geben soll, welche das Problem mit der O2-SIM lösen kann. Diese bekommt man via dem Support von Netgear. Also mal bei Netgear ein Login erstellt und mit dem Gerät registriert. Dann ein Support-Ticket eröffnet und um Lösung gebeten. Aber auch nach einer Woche war mein Ticket unbearbeitet - also noch nicht mal eine Resonanz. Das ist ein Gerät für Euro 279,-! Da erwarte ich zumindest eine kurze Antwort, dass man es gelesen hat und sich darum kümmert.Im Endeffekt habe ich von meinem Rückgaberecht gebrauch gemacht und mir den TP-Link M7650 gekauft. Dieser zeigt zwar etwas weniger Details in der Oberfläche an, funktioniert aber wenigstens anstandslos mit jeder meiner O2-SIM. Dieser vergibt dann die APN automatisch und speichert sogar manuell eingegebene APN sicher, damit sie beim nächsten Start auch noch da sind - hat der Netgear nicht gemacht.

Wie viele andere Kunden hier, hatte ich ein Problem bei der dauerhaften Speicherung der APN Einstellungen durch den Nighthawk M1 Router. Speziell bei den Karten von O2 oder Plus gab es Probleme. Jedes mal nach dem speichern verlor der Router diese Zugangsinformationen. Dies hatte zur Folge, dass der Router entweder niemals ausgeschaltet werden durfte oder aber man nach jedem Neustart diese Informationen wieder hinterlegen musste.Ich wendete mich dann an den Support von Netgear. Dieser war sehr höflich und zuvorkommen. Offen gestanden aber nicht ganz einfach im Handling. Nachdem ich dort meine Rechnungsdaten hochgeladen hatte und ein Ticket eröffnet war meldete man sich nach kurzer Zeit und stellte mir eine Beta Firmware-Version kostenfrei zur Verfügung, die dieses Problem 1A gelöst hat. Bereits nach dem Aufspielen der neuen Firmware (was recht einfach war) erkannte der Router sogar automatisch die Zugangsdaten, ohne dass ich diese überhaupt noch ein letztes mal eingeben musste.Dann passierte mir jedoch ein Missgeschick und der Router glitt mir aus 1,5 Metern Höhe aus der Hand. Dabei landete er unglücklich auf einer Kante und das innere Display zerbrach leider. Erneut schrieb ich den Netgear-Support in dem Wissen an, dass dies sicher kein Garantiefall sein kann. Versuchen kostet ja nix. Der Router war ja auch nachweislich noch keine 3 Monate alt.Dennoch bot man mir an das Gerät einzusenden und für mich kostenfrei zu reparieren. Nach rund einer Woche erhielt ich dann das Gerät im erstklassigen Zustand zurück. Es war kein Kratzer mehr zu sehen und das System funktionierte einwandfrei.Seither freue ich mich extrem an und über diesen Router und dank der von mir eingesetzten 200GB Micro SD Karte habe ich nun sogar eine Art kleiner NAS Server.Danke Netgear für diesen tollen Support und die freundliche Art.Wirklich immer wieder gern.

I have been looking at one of these for about a year but put off somewhat by the price. Trouble was I couldn't find an alternative that ticked every single box like this one. Finally found a like-new Amazon Warehouse deal and boy does this deliver in spades. EE pre-paid SIM inserted, online. Easy.First of all there is now an option to not display the Wifi details (including password) so previous reviews that highlight this as a security weakness are quite correct, but Netgear have addressed this.I'm not in a strong EE coverage area at all, the most I get is 2 bars of signal, but I get a consistent signal and this translated to a 45Mbps download speed again and again using fast.com. (i.e. it wasn't a unique one-off).I can't emphasis enough what a well-made, well-designed unit this is. I am confident enough in it to cancel my fixed broadband with BT and use it at home instead, and take it in the camper when we are away travelling.It's not 5G, but 5G isn't out there yet and anyway 45Mbps download speed in weak/moderate 4G coverage it good enough for me. Very impressed, wish I'd done it a long time ago, but at least got a great warehouse deal that kept the price super=attractive as well. Highly recommended.

Not really sure where to begin.If you want a portable, self powered wifi hotspot, there are cheaper and better options out there. The hauwei ones cost less than half the price and perform better without any setup. This one wouldn't work for my giffgaff sim even though it was one of the predefined profiles.As a router, this doesn't 'route' very well. It is very basic. Fred Flinstone probably had a better router. It doesn't even support dynamic dns or any of the usual router functions e.g. VPN, etc.So not really sure what this is - a very expensive doorstop perhaps??

Uso l'MR1100 quotidianamente da diversi mesi (acquistato ad Agosto 2018), posso quindi buttar giù due righe con le mie considerazioni.Prezzo: Esagerato ma avevo la necessità di comprare proprio questo router. Ho aspettato la prima offerta lampo, ho chiuso gli occhi ed l'ho acquistato.SIM: Con SIM Wind ho dovuto semplicemente settare gli APN e la connessione in rete 4G è risultata da subito stabile e senza problemi in ogni angolo del mio appartamento.WPS: Ho scelto questo router portatile perchè gestisce la connessione tramite WPS, funzione obbligatoria per poter utilizzare la mia bilancia WiFi Garmin che funziona ESCLUSIVAMENTE quando collegata ad un router con WPS abilitato (misteri della tecnologia...).Prestazioni WIFI: Ho abilitato entrambi le reti a 5Ghz e 2.4 Ghz e posso confermarne il corretto funzionamento. Reputo le prestazioni WIFI migliori del mio vecchio router portatile Netgear AC785.In generale la copertura può andare bene in un piccolo appartamento ma attenzione alla copertura del segnale 5Ghz che crolla drasticamente allontanandosi di pochi metri. Con entrambe le frequenze non riuscirete a coprire un grande appartamento specialmente se ha muri spessi. Tenete a mente che anche l'MR1100 non ha prestazioni comparabili ad un router tradizionale da casa (ma potete comunque spostarlo nel punto più centrale dell'appartamento, io ho fatto così e su 80mq calpestabili navigo tranquillamente da ogni stanza). In merito alla velocità del segnale, utilizzo spesso il dispositivo per vedere i film su Amazon Prime Video e video su Youtube, aprendo flussi a 4K senza problemi (congestione segnale cellulare/internet permettendo).File sharing: Il funzionamento del MYMEDIA (storage interno con SDCARD) è deludente. Il router purtroppo non viene visto come disco di rete e non è raggiungibile via FTP ma bisogna utilizzare esclusivamente l'interfaccia HTTP del browser. Anche la velocità di trasferimento dei file (con connessione 5Ghz) non è entusiasmante. Questa feature del router sembra buttata li, giusto per dare l'opportunità di condividere in rete qualche foto. Secondo me è stata mal implementata e andrebbe migliorata con le prox versioni FW.IMPORTANTE: l'MR1100 internamente supporta solo le card SDHC (e NON le SDXC) quindi potete utilizzare Microsd fino a MAX 32GB di capienza. Ricordatevelo.E' possibile condividere anche una classica chiavetta storage collegata tramite la presa usb frontale. In questo caso non sussiste il limite dei 32 GB, potete collegare anche un HDD (testato con WD esterno 4Gb formattato in NTFS). L'accesso ai dati avviene anche in questo caso tramite browser o app, niente FTP o disco di rete.Networking: Il router ha una porta LAN frontale dove potete collegare ad esempio una stampante da mettere in rete. Ad oggi non ho mai utilizzato questa feature quindi non posso esprimere giudizi sul funzionamento.Firmware: Al momento siamo in abbandono. Il FW si è aggiornato subito dopo l'acquisto (prima connessione ad agosto 2018) con la release: NTG9X50C_12.04.02.00 e successivamente, dopo tutti questi mesi, NON sono più arrivati aggiornamenti. Il mio vecchio router Asus di casa si aggiorna circa ogni 3 mesi con nuove feature e bug-fix.Sul sito ufficiale Netgear alla voce supporto, non ho trovato nulla riguardo i file con versioni vecchie o nuove del FW da scaricare, tuttavia...nella pagina di controllo del router è possibile forzare manualmente l'aggiornamento. OK! Volendo provare...ditemi almeno dove diavolo avete messo i file dei firmware! Mistero.UPDATE: Finalmente ad aprile 2019 si sono degnati di rilasciare un nuovo firmware (al momento codificato NTG9X50C_12.06.03.00). Ho notato un marginale miglioramento in termini di copertura del segnale wifi...a fronte però di un lieve peggioramento dell'autonomia della batteria.Batteria: Il punto forte, almeno comparata al mio vecchio AC785. Durata ottima. Al momento riesce ad alimentare il router per circa un giorno intero con carico wifi normale. E' possibile usare il router anche come power bank, mi è capitato di usarlo in emergenza per caricare il mio smartwatch Garmin arrivando a caricarlo fino al 100%.Settaggi e controllo: Incredibilmente, a differenza di tutti gli altri router mobile Netgear, per cambiare i settaggi bisogna usare TASSATIVAMENTE l'app mobile dal cellulare/tablet oppure accedervi con il PC via browser. Non è possibile cambiare i setting direttamente dal router in quanto lo schermo NON è touch screen e non vi sono tasti fisici da utilizzare per scorrere o modificare i dati. L'unico tasto cliccabile è il classico on-off.Accessori: Dopo lunga ricerca, come custodia rigida ho scelto la "igadgitz Nero EVA Custodia Cover Rigida da Viaggio per Bose SoundLink" che si è adattata abbastanza bene alle dimensioni dell'MR1100 e mi ha permesso anche di inserire il caricabatterie ed il cablaggio USB-C (vedi foto).Nel caso in cui vogliate aumentare ulteriormente le prestazioni del WIFI tramite la base Netgear DC112A-100EUS desistete immediatamente e non compratela. Avendo il connettore centrale USB-C e non la classica porta MicroUSB, l'MR1100 NON è compatibile!La pellicola proteggi schermo è già applicata sul router nuovo ma purtroppo viene via facilmente. Sfortunatamente non ho trovato pellicole aftermarket da acquistare. Ne ho quindi ritagliata una ad-hoc tramite taglierina circolare e pellicola adesiva universale. Risultato più che soddisfacente.Lo ricomprerei? Nel mio caso assolutamente si. Considerando che sono spesso in trasferta per lavoro, lo porto sempre con me ed in un attimo posso condividere la connessione con il PC aziendale ed altri device che si connettono a 2,4 ed a 5 Ghz. Una volta a casa, visto che NON sono coperto da ADSL, posso connettere ad internet la smart TV, la bilancia Garmin, gli smartphone, etc... Questo router è stata la mia salvezza!
