They work ok but not for really thick branches
Ok but need sharpening after a while and can get bent if you try cutting too thick branches but overall they are not bad

Our sons over the moon, he'd cut that if he cud reach!
We've been around for a few yrs & had a few makes of loppers of different quality & prices & you dont have to pay the earth for a decent pair of loppers with a big name as we found some yrs ago when we found these! we live next to railtrack so have a constant overhang of trees & big bushes & plenty of retired time to keep me busy! dont laugh im a retired builder & i hate gardening, but this is demolition so not so bad lol. They're light, but not so light they're flimsy, they're sturdy with strong steel arms which take the strain, average length just right unlike longer aluminium ones which with one little misjudgement & you've bent them! these will cut a lot more than they were designed to! so if you make a mistake on the thickness of that branch you aint gonna break them! Bought our son a set, he's 5'10" 17st & got arms like the jib on the 300 ton crane he operates! yeah he's an animal & he's put them thro their paces in his gdn & he loves them. (well they aint broke yet lol). Got him a set for xmas after he used ours when i was ill for a while & he done our gdn for us (thanks Aaron) he said to his mum they were Gr8 & as good as the pair of S&J's & W' Swords we've also got & better than the aluminium Fiskars, we tended to agree! Said we've tried a lot. Note! dont waste your time & money on extendables, buy yourself a ladder or a pole saw. One thing i forgot to say, ok ive got an 8in bench grinder & they sharpen up a dream, but i have also on occasion done it by hand with a file & they still sharpen up lovely so no problem there! (their secateurs are fine as well, just thought i'd say)

Good buy but shame about the rubber grimmet
Great loppers - sharp and cut up to 5/8 of an inch with no problem. The rubber grommet, which gives a spring to the cut, lasted one week of regular use and then dropped off. For my level of use they are fine and provided I keep them sharp will last a good few years.
