Excellent product
Purchased this item as I was starting to home cure different meats...arrived on time and in great order. Firstly I was pleasantly surprised at the size of this product when assembled...as a former butcher, I have used similar products over the years which have cost a heck of a lot more than this item and I can honestly say this works just as good if not better than most. The biggest problem I have faced when using these sort of injectors in the past is after using a few times, they tend to become flimsy and the seals give up. I have been using this for a month now (approx 20 times) and it's as good today as it was when I first used it. The next major problem you face using manual injectors is they are hard to hold and become very slippery in hand when handling meat products....the non-slip handles are brilliant and actually are non-slip for a change. The actual injector needles are also great...nice heavy gauge which means they will never bend and will stand up to the toughest cuts..(easily pierce through pork rind etc)..the larger of the two injectors is brilliant for injecting seasoned butter into chickens but you obviously must ensure whatever your seasoning the butter with is cut fine enough so as not to block the injector. Lastly, all bits are easy to assemble and disassemble and cleaning is a breeze..the body is large enough to get into with hot soapy water and a tight wound up dish cloth..unlike others which are so small you can only rinse and hope for the best. All-round a brilliant product and I would recommend this to anyone...even at double the price!!!

High quality, well worth the price.
The first thing I noticed was the weight, it's definitely almost entirely metal construction. The syringe action is smooth with no leaking and the needles are easy to change. The only downsides is that the connectors are made of plastic, they work well but I'm not sure about long-term durability. Also it would be good if there was a case or mechanism to keep them all together. I'd still give it 5/5, if it was priced a bit a bit higher I'd still consider it worth the price.

Well made, mostly
Sturdy, well made injector. Doesn't leak, easy to use. Screwing the handle on and off can be painfully hard when the plunger is pushed all the way into the body. Do the screwing while it's just barely inserted, and you have much less friction. Cleaning the needles can be tricky, but I find that a disposable pipe cleaner does the job. Be careful though, as you might pull out the small rubber gasket behind the thread. If you do, just put it back. Don't let it go down the sink. EDIT: While sucking up a particularly thick garlic puree, the plunger developed a momentary air leak and suddenly pulled all the way up and out, breaking off the two flimsy plastic protrusions that serve as a guide for screwing the handle on and to keep you from pulling the plunger all the way out. Still works, but how hard could've it been to make that part stronger? -1 star.

Excellent quality
Excellent value for money as excellent quality, durable, easy to use and clean. Tried on duck, chicken and turkey so far and does not disappoint in getting the flavours in! Highly recommend.

Best Ever Marinade Injector
Thick marinade was easily expressed from the needles into the core of the fatest chicken sections. It was easy to santize too after usage, as all traces of smell was removed. Best of all there's a solid weight to the high quality stainless steel and fiber glass, that tells durability will last forever. This is just my honest review through initial test in my roasted chicken 😉

OK but not ideal
I consider that this piece of equipment does the job it is intended for but with the following reservations: 1. The description 'Stainless Steel Injector' is misleading as the only stainless steel parts are the two 'sharps' and the outer sleeve of the injector's body. All of the remaining elements are of various plastics. These plastic elements include the screw coupling between the body and the needles, the main body of the injector, the plunger and it's screw fitted retainer. Using the description 'stainless steel' implies a level durability that in my opinion is not merited. Only time and use will tell but I suspect that this item will not survive rigorous use for very long. 2. The unit will not draw up even light liquid in the same way as a medical syringe. Therefore all substances that are to be injected must be loaded into the unit by unscrewing the end retainer and removing the plunger. To perform this fiddly process without making a mess requires a very steady hand or the use of a small funnel. 3. The stainless steel sleeve around the plastic body is a tight but importantly not watertight fit. This means that substances can access this tiny gap between the sleeve and body and being very difficult to clean, it is potentially an ideal breeding place for bacteria. I have now sealed this gap with waterproof silicon but had I recognised the problem earlier, it would have been better to have done this before use. Hopefully those who read this will have now that opportunity. In short I bought this kit to replace a medical syringe that for many years I had employed for injecting booze into cakes, etc. I hope that I have made a wise purchase but in all honesty I am undecided at present.

Inject some fun and flavour
I have been seduced by the black art of injecting marinades/brine into meats before slow cooking in BBQ. The low cost of this item prompted me to give it a go. I was very pleasantly surprised by the quality and efficiency which are well ahead of it's price point. Flavour of pork shoulders and chicken much improved.

Not up to the job
This looks like a quality item and is well made. However, it won't draw up liquid through the needle. The only way I can get it to work is to remove the needle, draw up the liquid then screw the needle back on and use. This is a messy job with this syringe which is far from ideal. Injecting a melted butter and chicken stock marinade to turkey makes it moist and flavoursome but unfortunately this is syringe is not up to the job.

Good for marinating and salting Meat, we made Finnish style christmas ham(14kg) and injected the salt vater with the injector and the result was perfect

Once opened from the package, you need to find another suitable one to store the needles. I managed some available so as not to lose or possibly injure anyone if they are in the drawer.

Recomendable, volvería a comprarla.

Though I was buying from a US company but was not. When it came through customs it was taken apart and inspected and then just taped with a piece of cardboard wrapped around it. Item was fine and of good quality.
