Absolutely Fantastic!
The iClever Himbox is an absolutely fantastic product! The audio quality is fantastic and the inclusion of the three buttons (multi-function and skip forward and back) onto the control and mic unit works very well and makes changing tracks whilst driving much easier that when using a standard AUX cable. The sound quality of the output from this device is fantastic, especially considering it is being passed over bluetooth, and the delay from pressing play (or the multifunction button) and actually hearing music is minimal. The unit interrupts music when you receive a call and it's again very handy to be able to accept it with just a single press. This is made even better by the fact the magnetic plate allows you to position the device very close to where your hands would be on the steering wheel. I was even able to hide the cables within my cars trim! The call quality is also much better than other handsfree solutions I have tried (excluding headsets). People on the other end do sometimes complain that it is difficult to hear me, especially when driving at high speeds, but this is to be expected I suppose. I actually purchased this after having tried the Belkin equivalent, which I must say was absolutely abysmal. If you are considering purchasing this product my review is available here: http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/customer-reviews/RRFGJN36SH8QT/ref=cm_cr_pr_rvw_ttl?ie=UTF8&ASIN=B004FNYQZ8. This product doesn't even compare! My only complaint would be that as my car socket is always on (i.e. power remains even when the key is removed from the ignition) that the auto connect feature doesn't work properly for me. If I move further than about 10 meters from my car, my phone disconnects and doesn't connect automatically upon my return. However I have been able to work around this issue by simply pulling the power adaptor out of the socket just enough to stop power running to it, which has the effect of turning the unit off. That way, when I return to the car, all I have to do is push the adaptor in and the unit turns on and connects automatically to my device. Bottom line: If you are considering purchasing an item such as this, I would save time looking around and just buy this one! It's a great little unit!

What a great little device this is
What a great little device this is ! I previously owned a 2005 BMW 5 series which had no auxiliary input and the only solution for me was to spend £350 having a Dension blue-tooth kit fitted in into the fibre optic audio system in order for me to be able to stream music to the stereo. Having ditched the BMW for a Range Rover Sport 2007 I was looking for a solution to the same problem as the RR does not do music blue-tooth connection. I found the Himbox and read the reviews and as the RR has an auxiliary input at the rear of the centre console I figured for under £25 I would give this a whirl. My one concern was whether the lead would be long enough for me to actually mount the control "pebble" on the dash. I plugged it all in which to all of 5 seconds, started up the car, paired to my phone in no time at all and away I went happily streaming my tunes. Another concern I had was whether there was going to be engine interference due to this type of connection (aux) and if there was going to be that annoying electrical "whizz" as the engine change revs coming over the speakers. While there is a minor amount of white noise when no music is playing (very minimal) it does not change pitch and there is none during music playback. Talking of music playback the audio quality is just great. The "pebble" auto connects each time I start the car up and if blue-tooth is already turned on on the phone I get a satisfying "Your device is connected" from a very soothing, non robotic, female voice. The pebble glows a steady muted blue colour when connected which is not glaring at all at night. After having the kit fitted for a little while just hanging loose in the car I decided to try and fit it properly for a neat fit. I am glad to say that, for my car anyway, the lead was just about long enough for me to hide the cable in the trim along the centre and upper console and mount the control pebble on the dash. I've made a couple of calls using the Himbox and those I have spoken to have said that the audio is very clear and multiple people speaking within the car at the same time can be heard without problem with no echo or other issues reported. In closing, for under £25 this is a great, inexpensive solution to my problem and the addition of 2x extra USB ports in the supplied charger for people in the rear of the car to use is a bonus. This product is well worth a punt.

Good product but the microphone could be better.
The bluetooth connection is good for one device, it is ok for two devices, but seems giving some glitches while playing the music if there is a second phone connected. The quality of the music is good and also the audio while you use this for a phone call, but the microphone culd be made better. I have installed it at the centre of the cockpit between me and the passenger and is about my shoulder or just a bit lower. If I’m talking, the people get a lot of noise coming from the car (I think) and I have to talk very loud. A part of that, it is easy to install, because the good length of the cables and because of the sticky pad provided for the miceophone. The “step forward” and “step backwards” and also the Play and Pause buttons are working great for my iphone7.

Problem with the power on of the device after switch on the engine of my car
Hello, the bluetooth device working fine with very good sound quality. i connected two devices at the same time and working fine. But i give the one star because there is a big problem with the power on of the device. When you plug the charger for the first time everything is working perfect, but when you switch off the engine of the car and after a while you turn it on again nothing happens (the device is off). Then you have to unplug the usb cable and plug it again or to unplug the charger and plug it again. It is not a problem of the charger because every other device that i conect to it working perfect after power on the engine. It is not a problem of the outlet because my car (VW TIGUAN) has a lot of outlets and all of them do the same thing. I am thinking to give it buck. It is very shame because the feature of streaming music and making calls is great but if i have every time that i switch on the engine to open the closed cabinet and unplug and plug again the usb power cable its rabish.....

Produit conforme !
