Powerful motor, does fast efficient job.
Received within 20 hours of ordering from Robert Hyas, and without paying for next day delivery. Excellent! Used it this afternoon and well satisfied! I particularly liked the wheel to guide the vac over the lawn. I've not tried blowing, I guess I'm just a sucker, but I am very pleased with the purchase, particularly the price. Robert Hyas has the best price on Amazon and E bay. My only niggle is that the tube is only secured by one screw causing it to rock unnervingly in use. I would have preferred an on/off switch to a dead man's handle but I realise this could be a problem if there was a leaf jam.

Edited to Now quite happy 4 stars from Shocked at how bad this seems 1 Star
Edited review:We’re now a week later & leaves are dry. Try the machine again & still useless. Remove the bag and peer inside exhaust ‘tube’ where I spot a blockage. 15 minutes later, blockage cleared so restart. What a difference, works well. Was it something I did, was it due to leaves being wet, I don’t know? Given that it never worked at all the 1st time, I am surprised that what seems like about 20 smallish leaves blocked it. I did start at suction level 1 and now realise this is the poorest level with 6 being the best. Did this cause an issue? Anyway, no matter, now happy with it but 4 Star not 5 due to the initial issues. Sucks up the oversize leaves well incidentally at level 6.Original review:I may upgrade the rating as time goes on but at this time, the Vacuum is useless. The thin suction tube means some of our leaves are bigger than the tube so the bottom of the tube is blocking continually. At the moment, the leaves are wet so will reassess when they are dry but the suction is totally inadequate to pick up the small leaves at a different section of the garden. On the plus side the length of the cord is fine for us but the machine itself seems dreadful.

First class fantastic
I have just assembled this with the two screws proved and fitted the bag and twin wheels. It came in a printed box so ideal for a gift. Assembly took no more than 15 minutes. I'm 6 ft tall and the shoulder strap is fine in supporting the weight which is about twice the weight of my strimmer. It can easily be changed from suck / blow by the flick of a lever. At 3000 W it is very powerful and having tried it inside it was sucking the rug off the floor. This item is of high build quality and very powerful. I have a tree hanging over my garden and always have bits in my garden on a daily basis and hundreds of leaves in the autumn so hopefully this will replace my back breaking broom and dustpan and brush.

Has limitations on what it will pick up. Twigs are out.
As a leaf blower it is reasonably good. Where it fails is hedge clippings. It sucks them up but the performance gradually diminishes and on investigation a birds nest of entangled twigs is found inside the machine ducts that has to be removed manually. I suppose the makers will claim it is not meant to do this, however they do not mention it, so now you know.On blowing it is fine as the leaves, including twigs and other rubbish, is dealt with efficiently

Good enough at a low price
Like everyone else has written it doesn't like wet leaves and it will clog up but if you stick to dry (ish) leaves it works well enough for a low price unit. The blower function is not the best but good enough for your typical British garden. If you need supersonic blowing power then don't be cheap and buy a more expensive petrol unit. Claims of rotting and ripped bags by other users I have not experienced and believe the others have stored it wet or filled with wet leaves etc. Like all tools, if you take care of it, it will serve you well.

A light, very efficient garden vac. at the right price
There was really nothing to dislike. The machine was light and easy to handle. It sucked up leaves efficiently, even wet ones and did not pick up pebbles. I could only suggest one possible improvement. When the bag becomes full, as it does quite often because it is on the small side, it would be more efficient to be able to detach it from the machine via some kind of quick release mechanism. It is possible to extract the contents via the zip in the bag but that is awkward with the weight of the machine on the end.

Utterly useless
Buying this was a complete waste of time and money. The suction and blowing efficiency were both hopelessly underpowered. I used it a few times and it blocked each time and I had to dismantle it, which proved extremely frustrating to the point I simply got so fed up with it and resorted to clearing the leaves from my sycamore tree by hand, as I had done so previously for many years. If I could give this product a zero score I would. I actually gave it away as part of my garage clearance; good riddance; I would NEVER buy this or any similar product again!!

Quite good value, reasonable quality
This leaf collector is quite good value, hence the 4 Star rating. If it was substantially more ìt would only warrant 3 stars because of its fairly limited suction eg, can't cope with sucking larger leaves, eg horse chestnut or large quantities at once. However, it is quite good at getting smaller leaves off beds and lawns. Quite lightweight which is useful and does at least avoid a lot of bending with leaf collecting. Blower function useful for organising leaves into piles on hard surfaces which can then be picked up by brush or hand.
