DND Gel Nail Polish Duo, Brown

Bought the smores color and added a white crome ontop! I was going for the glazed donut style I’ve seen on TikTok so I’d say this is close to like a cider donut color 😍😊 super happy with this nail polish will for sure buy again!

I would say the color is brown, warmer than nutmeg and cooler than an actual baby fawn. I didn't think it looked like the product image, which on my device looks like a pinkish tan. It's not. I would say it probably looks great on you if you have golden undertones in your skin. You know, the gals with green veins or blue/green veins in their wrists. The performance from this brand is normally very good. I haven't tried the laquer yet though, only the gel polish so far. Which I've been very pleased with. I own about 18-20 of these, and have been buying them since last year. They didn't get thick like some brands. Which is helpful for at-home efforts. Or you take it to the salon and let them do the work. Solid brand, made in Vietnam i think.

I ordered the color Light Fawn. I recently just got into gel polish. I am in the Navy so it does have to be a neutral color and this is the perfect shade for me, I love it so much! It cures perfectly with my UV light, I did about 2 minutes per coat. I.e. base coat 2mins, 1st later 2mins, top layer 2mins. A couple of my nails have just one coat. This polish is very opaque! It doesn’t need 2 coats, I only did two coats on certain nails if I felt it was necessary. I did order the base and top coat from the DND collection and I feel that helped as well. (800&900) A couple of my nails did peel after a 3-4 days but I believe that’s because I didn’t prep my nails properly because I want them to heal underneath this. I didn’t create grip by filing them, dehydrate my nails, or prime them, highly recommend those steps if you want your gel polish to last as long as possible. If you are wondering what the clear bottle is, it is a lacquer which means it air dries and the gel comes in the gold bottle (it’s light sensitive). I have yet to try the lacquer but I will soon. I will be buying more shades from DND.

Only took one coat and was deep and rich in color.

Very disappointed. The gel and normal polish are not the same shade of brown. I got the gel on my nails and normal on my toes and it looks like 2 totally different polishes. Defeats the purpose of purchasing the set.

Trying a new color

The color is not the most accurate, but still very cute for fall! Great consistency and easy to use. This brand will stay on my nails for 2-3 weeks.
