Verbatim 43533 DVD-R 4.7GB 16x Printable 50 Pack Spindle

Good quality and value for money.

I am fortunate enough to be able to record to dvd, and these do the job perfectly.

It is nice to be able to report so favourably on a product. One hears of difficulties with making DVDs, but, so far at least, these DVDs have performed flawlessly. In the main I have used them to make DVD replacements of old VHS tapes, and the results, inexplicably, seem to be even better than the original tapes, which logic tells me cannot be right, but... The very few recordings I have made from direct television programme transmissions are, to me, indistinguishable in quality from the programme as transmitted. Also, the printable surface takes ink readily, and the ink dries quickly. How they will last in to the future I know not, but, as far as I am concerned, I now have the right product for the job, at a very reasonable price, and I shall look no further.

Damaged. External packaging OK but internal item damaged. Looked as though it had been dropped before packaging!! Burnt 2 DVDs and seem to be OK.

I've been using these discs for a while with no bad burns and very few (maybe 1-3%) that have a slow verification read (under 2.5 or 3x at start), and they've worked in multiple devices without any issues so far. They are full face printable with a working area of 118mm for the outer diameter and 21mm for the inner diameter and look great when using something like the Epson R265 or XP-750 which can print directly onto them. The ability to print onto them makes labelling them neatly a cinch, and they look really good if you print a picture on them.

Yes! Don't waste your time looking around for the best inkjet printable disc because you have just found it. As a professional videographer I have to make sure of first class quality without paying over the top. I have found the 43533 disc to be the most reliable yet and the print quality is superb and after writing to about 400 discs I can only recall having 2 faulty and that is incredible because before using these discs I could throw away up to 20% of other brands that failed to write without the odd breakdown. I have also shopped around for these discs and Amazon always comes up with the best delivered price.

DVDs are fine fortunately but the packaging was awful. One small piece of brown paper in the box for padding was not sufficient and the DVD plastic casing was broken. DVDs ok more by luck.

Nota : J'ai attendu la consommation de tous les DVD de la boîte avant d'écrire ce commentaire. Jusqu'à présent, j'identifiais mes vidéos personnelles gravées sur DVD avec des étiquettes autocollantes imprimables conçues à cet effet. Le niveau de qualité du résultat obtenu était correct, mais pas transcendant. Le problème majeure que j'avais constaté était, qu'à la longue, certaines étiquettes se décollaient, même durant la lecture du disque à l'intérieur du lecteur DVD du salon, ce qui n'était pas bon pour l'appareil. Ayant acquis une imprimante CANON PRO 100 possédant une fonction d'impression DVD imprimable très efficace et devant réaliser des coffrets vidéos souvenirs du mariage de mon fils (un boîtier 3 disques : 2 de fichiers vidéos et 1 de fichiers photos), j'ai acheté pour la première fois ce type de produit. Et le résultat est largement à la hauteur de mes attentes. Concernant l'impression : Le résultat qualité est remarquable. Personnellement, j'ai été impressionné. J'ai commencé la distribution de boîtiers et les premiers retours sont très positifs. Les gens ont l'impression que ce sont des DVD issus du commerce. Avec l'imprimante CANON et son logiciel dédié, ça a été vraiment très facile de concevoir et d'éditer les faces d'impression. J'ai travaillé sur 3 modèles et chaque impression a duré environ 3 mn (hors manipulations). Concernant les gravages des disques : Les fichiers vidéos et photos ont été gravés avec le logiciel CDBurnerXP (PC équipé processeur Intel Core i7 avec 8 Go de mémoire vive et WIN 7 64). Tous les gravages ont été réalisés avec succès (0 défaut), chacun d'entre eux ayant duré en moyenne 4 mn. Je suis donc extrêmement satisfait de cette première expérience avec ces disques VERBATIM imprimable. Et je continue...

Los dvd-r verbatim son, sin duda, los mejores del mercado. Estos verbatim son imprimibles, es decir que con una impresora especial se pueden imprimir en su superficie, por ello son totalmente blancos; esa es la única diferencia que hay con los verbatim dvd-r normales, en cuanto a calidad y funcionamiento son idénticos. A mi personalmente me gustan mas estos, simplemente los marco con un rotulador en la superficie. Como algunos saben, los verbatim son producidos en 3 países distintos, dato muy relevante para saber la calidad final del producto, los mejores son los hechos en Singapur, luego están los hechos en Taiwan y por ultimo los hechos en India. Pero no os debéis preocupar por este detalle, si se diera el caso de que no os funcionaran correctamente, amazon.es os cambia el producto sin problemas, ya que su calidad esta garantizada 100% por verbatim. A mi me enviaron una tarrina hecha en taiwan y hasta el momento "0 problemas". El precio al que lo compre fue 13,88€, una verdadera ganga y más si tenéis el envió gratis, en 2 días lo tenía en casa. Estos verbatim son perfectos para grabar backups de la ps2, o películas o datos, lo que queráis. Tienen una capacidad real de 4.7GB y una velocidad máxima de grabación de 16X, incluso llega a 18X en algunas grabadoras actuales. Lo mejor es grabarlos a una velocidad baja para evitar errores de grabación, sobretodo en juegos de la ps2.

I've used 1000s of these. I churn out wedding video DVDs and photo backup DVDs every week and these are just perfect! Havent had any issues till date. The print medium is good too. Blindly buy it when there is stock. Very economical price too.
