I have been using this laundry detergent almost exclusively for 5 or 6 years. No one ever tells you that fifty pounds can last an insane amount of time if you measure it out in a tablespoon. Over the years, the boxes caked a bit, but it's easy enough to dig out a tablespoon. It still smells good, just like lemons. It doesn't irritate my daughter's skin, which has a lot of allergies. It works great, just like any other powdered detergent. The price can not be beaten! I probably have enough here for another 5 years!

1 year later, I'm nowhere near being done with this box. It might last another year. I'm a single dude who does about 2-3 loads a week.Side note: the included scoop is no good just get a measuring cup from the dollar store.

It's works great! Made my old white clothes more white! It does have a sent to me.I have 3 young kids it took out the stains in their older clothes.I will be buying this detergent on the regular!

Wife would prefer something a bit more appealing to the olfactory sense but I prefer plainer stuff.. the scoop lasted a pretty long time considering how thin it was.Biggest thing is beware the packaging it arrived for me pretty beat up and I had to rebag it which was tough cuz it's a pretty fine powder. I would also recommend dissolving it in hot water before adding to the wash.

I have been trying to reduce our use of plastic and started using detergent sheets, but they just don't clean well enough. This stuff cleans great, and the only plastic that came with it was a thin bag inside the cardboard box that the detergent powder was in, presumably to keep the powder from leaking out the box corners. I see a lot of people saying it has no scent, but what I received has a very light sort of floral scent that isn't detectable in washed and dried laundry. When I first opened the package I thought it had a slightly odd fermented odor, almost like beer. But that went away after a couple of days. I've seen people say it is too hard, and it's true, if you don't keep the bag closed the detergent will get hard, so don't leave it open. I repurposed a big plastic pail that some other detergent came in a couple of years ago that I transferred this to, which keeps the moisture out. Be careful transferring it though, so you don't breathe the dust. And I highly recommend using a mask and doing it outside. If this all sounds like too much effort, then it might not be the product for you. But for the reduction of plastic, the cleaning power, and the amazing price I think it's well worth it.

We're a family of 7 so multiple loads of laundry is a regular occurrence here. I was spending too much money on detergent and started shopping around. This stuff comes out to 6 cents an ounce, the cheapest I've found so far. It's a 50-pound bad of detergent so this is going to last us for months. We buy this off of Amazon because of the free shipping, and it's also the cheapest here.We cannot do dyes or perfumes due to sensitivity, so I was concerned about the citrus scent. We've been using this for 2 months and so far, no one has broken out or had any skin issues and the smell does not give me a migraine like the other scented detergents do. The clean clothes do not smell at all despite the detergent itself smelling citrus.My husband gets his jeans very grimy, and this detergent does a great job of cleaning them. We were using Oxyclean as a backup and I have been able to stop using it with this detergent.Just a word of warning, the detergent itself is a very fine powder, so be careful when you use it because it gets airborne very easily. Do not let little kids play with it or use it because they can inhale it and get hurt. We have an airtight container that we store it in so moisture doesn't get into it.So if you are drowning in laundry and need a cheap but quality laundry detergent, this is what you're looking for!
