I couldn't work it out, I tried for ages, in the end I brought the signal strength page up on the TV, moved the disc around, my wife and I were both on our mobiles, when the signal was strong, my wife said stop, that worked a treat. The Sat Finder went back in its box, and I won't be trying to use it again. I hope this helps.

Will it work after a communal signal splitter switch

This unit was rubbish I put the cable on and the unit twisted and never worked .sent to screech bought one that works. Also bought new direction unit as old one had had it.
