I was put on this vitamin by my doc, as apparently I do not absorb enough of it from sun light...many people apparently have the same problem. I was having problems finding it locally where I live, so I looked on Amazon and there it was. It is important once one has been put on some supplement to stick with the brand that you have been put on as despite descriptions the dosage/mg does vary with different producers. And I did not want to have to go through the process of having more blood tests to check on my levels.So thank you to this company for having what I want and posting to Ireland. Oh and the service was great and speedy too. So a really reliable and speedy company to deal with no mater what supplement you may find yourself in need of.I shall be ordering more soon as am on them permanently.The only thing I would like to ask the company is..could you please package the pot of capsules in a small padded envelope, as the last lot I got were rather overly packaged and not very secure in the huge piece of cardboard...the pot of pills were in great danger of falling out by the time they arrived.Otherwise all great.Thank you.

These are good value for money tablets, and I'd been recommended to them, as gold standard product.

I've nearly finished my first bottle so needed some more. I already get a 400 iu daily tablet from my GP and added this 600 iu to it. I take a total of 1000 iu Vitamin D3 daily together with K2 MK7. I have osteoporosis and brittle bone disease. Two months ago I tripped on an irregular pavement slap and fell with full force on my knee not breaking anything (see D3 1000iu & K2 MK7!)! Registrar held me in overnight with the heavy internal bleeding and said this is a bad fall. I'm in my 3rd month with ruptured ligaments and its ongoing; however not broken!Well done Solgar!

I am pleased with the product, it arrived promptly in good condition, the capsules are very small and slender which makes it easy to swallow very satisfied will order this product again.

Took vit d3 for a month tested with HomeKit vit d levels were sufficient. My previous vitamin d levels were a concern. So highly recommend this item.

Regarding the quantity you get for the price, there has been no match. This hands down beats all competatora for quantity. The pill is also easy to swallow because the gell. The taste isnt so bad if u just swallow it fast. But it is so worth buying if you need vitimin D. I have had other pill bottles run out 3 times and still have some in this one. The glass bottle was a big surprise but i cant wait to repurpose it once im done with the vitimin d pills inside!

Vitamin D deficiency can lead to anxiety, depression and muscle weakness. 600 IU is the recommended dosage. Google the symptoms of a vitamin D deficiency.

Nothing to like or dislike, it's a vitamin. Solgar seems to offer some of the less used supplements.

Havent taken long enough to tell if feel any different yet. Love that it has veg caps n that you get 120 caps. Loved the price.
