Heavy Duty Strip Blind SILVER SCREEN BLIND (80cm wide-UK Standard door size)

Wow no flys! I'm impressed! Just ordered another one of these blinds as it really works. I could never keep my conservatory door open as the amount of flies I'd get was ridiculous. Being a bit of a clean freak I can't understand why I'd get so many, not any more. The blind is good quality and a really good price. Also so easy to put up with the sticky hooks recommended. It fits the one side of my French doors so I've ordered another for the other door. Can't praise this product enough! I think it Looks really good as well as the magnetic bug blinds are an eyesore in my opinion. Also my dog can come and go as she likes.

These are an excellent insect repellent, and it saves on awful smelling fly spray. They fit easily to any doors and are easy to open and close, my dogs soon learnt how they worked after being baffled for a time. I have them on all my outside doors which enables me to have fresh air coming in but without the extra visitors. These are not as flimsy as some l have bought before, they made of a stronger mesh and stand up to more rigourous use, ie: dogs 🐕

Given the price, this insect screen is surprisingly effective and attractive to boot. To describe it as 'silver' is slightly creative, shiny grey would be nearer the mark, but it looks smart rather than tacky. However, there is one serious design flaw; the rod supporting the streamers is lightweight plastic and sags under its own weight. In my warm conservatory, within 2 or 3 days the rod had bowed sufficiently to drop our of the supporting hooks at either end. I had to move the hooks closer together to solve that problem, but the bowing has continued to develop even though I have attempted to bolster the whole contraption with a bamboo cane- not the prettiest solution. Perhaps using several small stick-on hooks along the length of the the rod would work but I do think it a shame that a potentially good and cost-effective design should be spoilt for what must surely have just been an oversight.

Product received promptly in post. When I unwrapped I found 10 of the 33 strips to be faulty. They are obviously cut on a machine and the 10 strips had small tears in them. The product was bought as a temporary measure and as such it serves its purpose.

Some people have scored this item low; not sure why. Its as heavy duty as a fly screen gets unless you want metal and the obvious associated cost as such. It flutters in a breeze or wind which is kind of the idea really, as it deters insects and makes a cool, relaxing sound. Tried magnetic fly screens in the past and they break after a couple of days especially when a husky goes barging through them!! From the attached picture you will see I just used two chrome hooks which hold the screen in place. Not a huge fan of sticky hooks especially in a new conservatory. The silver colour I think brings a nice touch to our conservatory and added shade which is a bonus. I'll be ordering another one shortly.

We bought 2 of these to cover our patio doors and they work perfectly keeping the flies etc out. Our friends have a magnetic one but this is so much easier to walk through with drinks. .

This is the second one of these fly screens that I’ve ordered. The first one was brilliant, lasting for at least four summers, but this one is useless. The fronds are dropping off at an alarming rate, you only have to brush past them and they fall off, or they simply fall off without any contact. I already need to order a replacement.

This is the 2nd one I’ve had ! Just the best quality and looks good 👍

Cortina sencilla pero funcional

Es mentira que vienen instrucciones, ni accesorios para el montaje. Ahora debo buscar en una ferretería como sujetar la cortina. ¡Decepcionante!
