Awesome MIDI device
I always had Creative Labs Sound Blaster cards around that had MIDI connections, and after my last computer upgrade MIDI connections were no longer possible - not to mention laptops are more standard now. Picked this up to connect to my Casio Digital Piano to help with recording. It's super easy to setup - just plug everything together, open the software, and things just work. I use Linux and previously had some issues doing the setup so expected more of a hassle but this was so simple i was recording within minutes of connecting everything up and plugging it into my laptop.

Great and versatile MIDI box with software configuration that works well on macOS
Just got this little router and it is a gem! I attached a screenshot of the UX Midi tools. This device is very versatile and works nicely with macOS. In my case, this is on Sequoia 15.4.1. The universal utility is downloaded from the App Store. I am writing this after having it for only a short time as a counterpoint to folks who had trouble on macOS. - I plugged it in and it was immediately visible on macOS. - The app was downloaded from the App Store and works well. It immediately asked to update the firmware and did so without trouble. - Routing and modifying filtering is simple. - It maps the USB software ports on macOS when running in connected mode. Note: I connected this directly to the Mac and also to a hub, and it worked. Some hubs can be problematic with MIDI.

Fantastic little router/interface
This is just what I needed for my small home studio. The free software you can download from CME for this unit to program it is very easy to use and understand. I love being able to set up presets in order to have my keyboard control one or another of my tone modules, or to have the computer send a midi clock out to everything. The routing can be done in any combination. It's very versatile. I didn't need any special drivers, just plug & play. My DAW recognized it immediately. It took just a few moments to set up and get going. I absolutely love this little unit, and I haven't even explored all its uses yet. I suppose it has its limitations, since there is only 3 in and 3 out, but for my set up it's perfect. Highly recommended.

Had some minor issues but now works great
I had some minor issues with this CME Midi Interface when i first got it but was able to work them out and it has been working great ever since. Probably the best price you'll find for an interface with these features.

A great MIDI router, merger and filter with solid software for windows
It's very flexible and reliable so far. I am using it as follows currently: keystep 37 MIDI out --> MIDI in3 --> MIDI out3 --> MIDI out2 (merged) --> MIDI out1 (merged) DR-880 MIDI out --> MIDI in2 --> MIDI out2 --> MIDI out1 (merged) DR-202 MIDI out --> MIDI in1 --> MIDI out1 And when attaching to a PC/Win 10/11 ... you can turn on 'advanced mode' to get an additional 3 USB IN(s) and 3 USB out(s) as well, when attached to the PC via. the USB C to USB cord (included). You can change the above routing to whatever you want to the software using a PC. So you could make it work like a thru box, or as a router + merge like I did. I like how the active midi data path flashes, so its easy to know/remind yourself how you routed things. The filtering would also be nice, as you can filter each input differently if you want. Scott Uhl has a great review on this box on youtube.

This thing solved basically all my MIDI problems
I like doing live loops. Had a lot of issues over the years trying to sync all my gear properly. Being able to filter out certain MIDI signals with the MIDI tools software has been an absolute game changer! The only advice I'd give anybody with this thing is if you ever do a firmware update, be prepared to completely re-do all your filters and routing... just learned this the hard way. If this little thing hadn't solved 5+ years of headaches I would've taken off a star for that. But yeah, if anyone from CME is reading this review, at the VERY LEAST, can you please WARN people that before doing a firmware update, we should screenshot our settings? Great product, it solved 1/15 of a lifetime of headaches for me but PLEASE either fix this or add a warning/disclaimer message before doing firmware updoots. Thank you :) *Edit: Thankfully I had some screenshots backed up from my config. Took about 45 mins to track down the screenshots, re-apply them and test. Minus one hypothetical star for CME. (I hope they read this and at the very least create a disclaimer or even better if they create a way to save configs within the software )

Well worth the value for its utility and feature set.
This thing is great. The interface is intuitive, though moderately complex. There are YouTube videos and a manual on their site to help. It has several features aside from programmable routing, like MIDI filter and Mapper to go with the router though I haven't needed them yet.. No noticable latency from device to device. Only gripe is that it's so small and light, cables can pull it around if it's not fastened somehow. That's a preference so I'm still going to give it 5 stars. I'm actually about to buy a second one because I filled the first up.

Features USB-C but comes with USB-A cable!?
I do not know why companies do this, but if you're buying this because it's USB-C compatible, you better order a USB-C cable as well because it does not come with one. The included cable is USB-A to USB-C, so great if you have a computer that has the old USB on it. Which in that case why are you buying a USB-C compatible device? It makes no sense and I wish they would be more clear that you will NOT get a USB-C-ended cable in the box.

I needed to sincronize the midi from my dawless setup. Worked really good. Just in a few minutes i could configure mi digitakt as the main device, sending midi(DT MIDI - OUT) orders to all the other devices (digitone, microfreak, keystep). In addition, the app for macOS is really intuitive. Only need a few clics and everything is configured as you need.

Funktioniert super.

Mijn oude vertrouwde edirol um one weer gepakt. Hassle free. Wel maar één in/out. Dat dan weer wel. Probeer het zelf. Get Lucky.

Funciona perfecto en computadoras Apple, sin necesidad de instalar drivers, y es sencillo configurar los distintos modos que tiene para operar, si tuviera el doble de puertos (6 en lugar de 3) sería mucho mejor
