nice proportional throttle 4wd headlights
very nice, at such a low price, the good parts are that they have proportional throttle in forward and reverse, come with removable batteries, have 4 wheel drive which is awesome and working headlights. also they are built very sturdy with strong bumpers and even the screws are slightly bigger than most little rc toys. the tires are pretty nice and the steering center can be adjusted. bad parts were that the batteries are from 2020 and don't seem to last for much time, the disposable batteries had corrosion. nicely packed and shipped. i will cut the battery wire and put a different connector to use better batteries, i was looking forward to the nicad for ease of "keep charged until play" but 300 mah and weak feeling are the batteries it comes with. great little toy for cheap, kitten loves to chase it, can be driven on irregular dirt and snow, 4wd really is great, headlights dim so much from lack of power, better battery will probably make the difference. worst part is the steering gets stuck on both but you give a little input and it unsticks, not precision but fun bargain toys, just needs better battery, can probably survive falls down stairs for years. oh, the booklet is only in English, no Chinese or Spanish on it, surprising.

They are actually pretty good, much better then I was expecting
The media could not be loaded. I just got these, so the following are first impressions.I ordered Four Sets of 2 cars, as prizes for public events where I setup a multi-player race simulator.I have owned some very BAD quality RC cars, and I have owned some pretty high quality RC cars. While these are not of the highest quality, they are NOT junk. They are actually pretty good, much better then I was expecting, especially for the price. Now, how long they last will depend on where you drive them, and how well the driver treats them. A 4 year old driving it outside will likely destroy it in a few minutes. But it will last longer with a kid that respects it and drives it on a smooth open space.I have not yet driven it enough to know how durable the gears are. Going forward and reverse too quickly, too often, will strip the gears in just about every RC car out there, even the PRO cars. Tis is why open spaces will help it last longer. They do not have proportional steering, as the components to allow that alone would cost more than the price of this car.The one truck I have the steering does stick a little every once in a while, so you need to be quick to fix it when trying to go straight again.I was actually surprised that the throttle is proportional, not sure how proportional but you can go slow or fast based on the press of the trigger. The battery says NICD on it, but I did not think they even made NICD any more. The first charge I ran though the car (in the video) ran pretty well for at least 5 to 10 minutes, I did not time it, and they should have been charged before using the car. They are actually a true 4WD, there is a drive shaft and gearing in there to connect the front and rear axles. The only suspension however is in the front, the rear has none. This is the case on a lot of hobby level RC cars, but not usually trucks.I would say these are a larger scale than 1:48 some were between 1:48 and 1:32The truck is about as wide as a Kyosho Mini-Z, but shorter.

Three Stars
Worked well. Bought for young children but was a little to fast for them.

Internal workings are not durable
These seemed perfect when we first tried them out. The battery held up 15 min and charged quickly, and they are pretty fast. The problem is they were not durable. We used them indoors only, and both have already broken.-1 port on the 2 port charger didn't work right out of the box.-After 3 weeks of use, 1 car stopped going backwards, and then stopped moving at all.-2 days later the other one stops moving. They both still respond to steering, but something must be wrong with the motor/gearbox.-It is impossible to drive straight. The car is always driving left or right as the steering doesnt reset to center properly when you release the wheel. There are other minor gripes, like requiring a screw to remove the battery or the steering being all left or all right with no gradient, but both of them failing within 30 days earned them my 1 star review.I looked into the warranty, its only 90 days repair or replace for free. 90-365 you pay shipping, 365+ you pay $8 plus shipping. I'm shipping them back for a refund instead.

Batteries lose charge way too fast!
We had high hopes for these cars. The batteries run out of life long before they should. Often times the wheels won't straighten out and for a reason we haven't been able to figure out yet, sometimes the cars wheels will run while you're holding it but as soon as you set it on the floor, it stops. I'm disappointed and so is our 6 yr old as this was his Christmas gift.

Bought these cars for my grandson's birthday. Only last about half hour on a full charge.
Battery in the cars lasted maybe 30 minutes not sure exactly how long they would have lasted if the remote would have worked longer than 30 minutes with rechargeable batteries I purchased for each one.Grandson's loved to play with them inside the house - guess they didn't do so well out side on the sidewalk or the patio. However they got bored with them about as long as the battery lasted because they had limited space in the house to run them around. Would have been better if they could have used them outside as I stated above and as they said they would run on a flat surface such as a sidewalk or a patio but they did not.

Super fun!!
My 5yo son and I have only used these cars for about an hour so I can not speak to the longevity of the product but they are super fun. The cars are plenty fast enough and the controls are easy to use. They are very responsive and easily maneuverable. It's a great toy for playing together with your kids

Charge doesn't last long, but these are very durable ...
Charge doesn't last long, but these are very durable. They've been slammed into walls several times already and haven't caused any damage to the exterior or the working performance.
