MSI GeForce GTX 1070 AERO 8G 1920 Cuda Core PCIE 3.0 8 GB GDDR5 256-Bit Graphics Card - Black

No idea why people are giving it a bad review, do some research about the actual issue first. After having the card for over 2 months now, I have to say, it can take literally anything i throw at it. It is flawless. The best computer gear, is the gear that you forget about and can concentrate on gaming etc. This card enables me to not worry about temps, voltages and FPS all at the same time. The design is cool, not too invasive yet still is the standout item in my M-ITX build, 5-Stars to MSI for this one, great bit of kit! I would whole-heartily recommend this card to anymore wanting to make the leap into the high-tier of graphics cards. It won't break the bank and you defiantly get what you pay for. It has exceeded my expectations, and then some.

Super upgrade to my PC (from an old 670GTX!). Doesn't cost the world and is a very good all round card. Delivery was fast and efficient, well packaged and arrived with no bumps or bruises

Apart from the box arriving badly damaged, I was very impressed with this card at first. Until the screen started flickering during game play. I had already carried out an uninstall using ddu and updated to the latest Nvidia drivers. So checked out a few forums and discovered that other 1070 users were experiencing the same corrupted display issues. Apparently it's all to do with the onboard memory being manufactured by a company called Micron. I ran GPU-Z, desperately wanting it to say Samsung. No Micron! I was also disappointed with MSI who took over a week to respond to my concerns. Anyway other manufacturers have already released a firmware update along with a patch from Nvidia to help resolve these issues.

I upgraded my son's 'gaming PC' with this once the supplied card in his Dell 8700 began struggling with new versions of his favourite games and became 'unplayable!'. Yeah, right. Anyway, this card fits in the slot and case OK but I had to upgrade the power supply too in order to feed the beast. After some careful recabling I was relieved at no flash/bang on powering on. One happy teenager playing all games at 'ultra settings'. Will probably see him again in 12 months for next upgrade. Priceless.

First up, don't listen to the BS above, this card was the cheapest of the 1070's and I found out why. It stopped working after 15 days and never worked again. I'm on a backup card right now thank god I kept it in the drawer. Initially it worked OK, fresh driver build, current date...but wasn't blow your sox off fast. So I ran it through a benchmark. Then I noticed the temp. it was hitting 84 degrees in a benchmark test. I started watching again closer. Under any load she was 75 degrees, which is apparently OK for graphics cards but this thing doesnt have the best fan, its a single fan. I vsync'd my games to try to reduce load on it and thought no more about it. Until today i was playing a game and the screen went grey and the computer stopped responding. The power was running through, the lights were on, but no one was home. I swapped out another card into the slot, all fine, put it back, black screen - no boot. Reset the CMOS, pulled every USB and power use, same, black screen, its dead. Now....here's the thing. When I recieved the card, the box was opened (no seal), the DVI adaptor was missing, the paper crumpled for the driver disc so it had been opened. But the card was in the sealed static. So soemthing about this screams seconds to me. End of story. Buy cheap, get cheap. Maybe I was unlucky, maybe some of the stories about hot 1070's are true.

Finally a product that has new tech and is worth every penny. Runs cooler, uses less energy, but has 8Gb of RAM. Using it with a 2K monitor @ 144 Hz and loving it.

Pay for next day delivery end up getting it late by a day but at least I got the graphics card. So let's begin my build. Everything is together now and well what do you know the graphics card is faulty. Literally spent and entire day working out what was wrong. Time to send this garbage back from where it came from.

So, mehr oder minder spontan habe ich mich für den Kauf der MSI-GTX1070 entschieden. Kurz zur Problemstellung: Ich zocke auf 21:9 (2560*1080) und gerne auf Full-Details. Meine bisherige GTX970 kommt dann mit den rund 20-30% mehr Bildinformationen (bei 21:9) schnell ins Schwitzen, so dass man einige Abstriche machen muss um 60+ Frames zu halten. Nach einigen Reviews und Tests habe ich mich letztlich für die GTX1070 entschieden. Ich wollte kein Premium-Anschluss-Monster sondern eine solide, bezahlbare Karte. Und die Alternative wäre eine Karte von Palit oder Gainward gewesen. Vorteil bei dieser Karte: Kostenlose Same-Day-Delivery zum gleichen Preis und dazu noch die OC-Fähigkeit sowie das "neue" Lüfterdesign. Dass es kostenlos dazu noch Gears of War 4 gibt, ist ja nun auch nicht verkehrt ;-) Einige Tests bzw. Usermeinungen sprachen von unangenehmen Geräuschen oder Fiepen. Ich kann sagen: Bei mir läuft die Karte tadellos, nahezu lautlos auch unter Last. Die Leistungssteigerung gegenüber meiner GTX970 sind drastisch, stellenweise (laut Benchmarks in Rainbow Six Siege und The Division, jeweils 2560*1080 und Full-Details, alles bis Anschlag) bis 70-90% Geschwindigkeitszuwachs. "Doppelt so schnell wie GTX970" würde ich nicht sagen, aber zumindest nahe dran. Und die Karte kommt auch mit der deutlich erweiterten Auflösung sehr gut zurecht, da geht einiges. Ich kann für mich sagen, dass die Karte genau das erfüllt hat, was sie versprochen hat. Daher gibt es volle Punkt/Sternzahl von mir, ich bin bislang sehr zufrieden. Wenn sie technisch weiter stabil und zuverlässig läuft, bleibt sie natürlich im System (ansonsten hätte ich gerne Ersatz ;-)). MSI ist für mich seit jeher eine gute Bank und auch hier enttäuscht sie nicht - auch wenn ich das OC derzeit nicht nutze, weil es schlicht nicht notwendig ist. Kurz und gut: Alles zur vollsten Zufriedenheit :-)

Carte graphique hors du commun. Les performances sont là (si on a un processeur qui suit, ici un i5 6600k & 16gb RAM DDR4) : n'importe quel titre tourne à plus de 60 fps en qualité ultra (de Team Fortress 2 à GTA V en passant par War Thunder ou encore, Rainbow Six Siege sans oublier Fallout 4 avec mods de textures 4k et autres effets de particules bien gourmands), le tout en 1080p (je n'ai ni testé la 2k ni la 4k, n'étant pas équipé pour). Il n'y a peut-être qu'Arma 3 qui me résiste, et encore c'est satisfaisant. Cette carte garantie également des performances optimales pour l'émulation (j'utilise Dolphin et PSX). Je ne pratique pas l'overclocking, mais il semble superflu ici, vu les performances de la carte. Son seul bémol est son système de refroidissement limité. Il se contente de rediriger l'air chaud hors du boîtier. Attention donc, il faut prévoir un système de refroidissement auxiliaire bien adapté, surtout avec cet été des plus chauds.. En ce qui me concerne ça n'est pas un problème (5 ventilateurs internes + 2 sur le radiateur du processeur). Esthétiquement j'aime bien le design noir/blanc/argent et sa "turbine", cela me fait penser à un moteur d'avion (d'où son nom Aero ?). S'accommode parfaitement avec ma carte mère Z170A Krait GAMING (MSI toujours). Niveau bruit, je ne l'entends pas. Isolation efficace du boîtier ou est-elle simplement silencieuse ? Mystère.. je ne peux pas vous dire, mais elle ne semble pas bruyante. Petit plus, on a droit à la qualité MSI. Poir ceux qui jouent en 4k ou 6k et qui veulent vraiment tout pousser à fond, ne partez pas dans un SLI de 1070 et achetez directement une 1080 (ou même une TITAN si vous avez de l'argent à mettre). En conclusion, peinard pendant un moment avec cette carte graphique dernière génération. Je ne peux que recommander.

Ottima fattura, qualità fantastica. Regalo per il mio ragazzo con cui mi spacco di The Witcher 3 a massima risoluzione e quasi nullo il calo di fps e no lag. Consigliatissima.

Es una tarjeta excelente y a diferencia de las de Radeon de 8gb también, está ni por asomo llega los 80 grados centigrados de temperatura. Es muy poco ruidosa (solo arranca a ventilar cuando se le pide trabajar en serio) Es un tarjetón que usualmente suele rondar los 800 (en Worten) pero los 300 que pagué son chollo. Ni se arruga jugando a Warthunder con gafas de VR ni hace esas sombras negras en las gafas como pasaba con la de Radeon. La recomiendo

Me ha gustado todo, no tengo que poner ninguna objeción a su funcionamiento, inclusive en 4K tanto vídeos fotos o videojuegos, estupenda.
