Absolutely brilliant. Can’t go wrong.
I was looking for a Wahl clippers throughout the covid 19 lockdown. I finally managed to pick these up for £14 on an absolute steal. These clippers are fantastic. They do all the jobs a fancy version would do for a fraction of the price. The 1-4 guards are perfect as anything above a 4 can be done by hand with a scissors. Personally I’d rarely even use the 3.The razor cuts very well and feels solid. It’s not that heavy and doesn’t vibrate that much so it’s easy to use for an extended period if you’re doing a fade of some sort. It gets a little bit hot after a while. I used it for maybe an hour the first time and while it never got too hot to use, I just gave it a little cooling break after maybe 30min and 45min for a few minutes while I either cleaned up a bit or did some scissors work on the top.It wasn’t too hot to handle, just thought it might be better for the lifespan to let it cool on the windowsill. It comes with some accessories including clipper oil. The scissors that come with it are fine. I had already bought a pair of barbers scissors on Amazon for around £5 a few months ago, which I think are better quality so I just used them. The ones that come with the clippers would be fine though. The comb is pretty decent too, but again I just used the one I had already.I would say they’re very good for both self hair cutting - Aaron Oddball uses them for his YouTube videos. They’re also great for somebody else to cut your hair. They’re quite intuitive and easy enough to fade with the taper lever so I’m sure most people could perform an acceptable haircut with them.As these cost me £14 which is about €16 and my usual haircuts in the Grafton Barber cost €19, I’ve already made my money back after the first cut. It’s going to take a while to get to the same level as them of course, but there’s never been a better time to learn.Overall for £14 you really can’t go wrong. I saw these selling on eBay for much much more before I finally snapped these up.

Used this for my beard, groin and for my head all without issue.
Noise isn't too bad, quality is high caliber, the accessories are varied and the scissors aren't cheaply made. Feels light enough in the hands, no more than the average phone.

This is a go
On a scale of one to ten, this is a go. I've noticed that this item has been in short supply lately and some sellers are engaging in price gouging - be careful. I waited over a month until I could buy this at a reasonable price. Don't spend more than £14 on this. If you know you want to buy it, I recommend that you wait for it to become available at that price, which seems to be a fair representation of its RRP.With that out of the way, this thing is an absolute beast. The violent vibration of the motor reveals its tremendous power and I'd give it six stars out of five if I could. Its popularity is well justified. The very first thing I did with the clipper out of the box was to realign the stationary outer blade with the moving inner blade, reducing the gap between the blades to almost nothing to ensure as close a cut as possible (I'd say this is an essential first step). With that done, the clipper does an admirable job of achieving a near-bald zero grade cut. In fact, it can be marketed as a balding clipper. The clipper also does a fantastic job on facial hair and is a viable alternative to shaving. It's prone to cut your skin so be especially careful if you do decide to use it on your face.

its cheap and it does the job as long as your quick
like many people it seems i ordered these about two years ago (felt like it to get it delivered) when all the barbers closed and thought i will go short all over and it will do , the clippers are ok and it does the job but christ it gets hot, worryingly hot as i would not use these for a extended period as expected as cheap chinese made stuff, had argos and other reputable shops had a decent set of philips clippers i would have bought them but it seems that the majority of the uk beat me to it and i had to use amazon and their very lax product and sellers checking, so these could be genuine clippers or moody knock off clippers. so if your desperate be quick and get your Rhona hair cut done until the barbers reopen as i doubt these would last the course of casual once a month use for long, or if your lucky argos ect have restocked the genuine stuff
