Laptop Desk/Tray with Led Light (906)-Ideal for craftwork, reading or tv dinners.

I love this lap tray. I am an author, which means I write a lot, on both my laptop and on paper. This tray feels sturdy, so I know my laptop is safe on it. When writing on single sheets of paper, I find the surface is smooth and does not affect my writing. The light attached to the tray is strong enough to write in a darkened room with all other lights switched off in the room. The light is adjustable, allowing you to focus the light directly onto the area you are working, so it does not disturb others in the room. I have read other reviews about the padding in the desk and I have to be honest, I find it perfectly ok. Others have made it out like it would not be fit to bed a hamster! the truth is, it is slightly thin but not in a way that will make it unstable or uncomfortable on your lap or any other surface. The backing of the desk is closed up with a zip the circles the width of the desk, so if you wish to add a cushion to suit your preference, all you do is open the zip and slide one inside, close the zip, and there you go! I love the desk. I am glad I bought it

I received the item 2 days earlier. It is a nice, soft bean padding which molds comfortably to your legs. The cup holder is very sturdy and will hold most cups without the risk of spilling. The lamp is very bright but the downside it is that you need to have 3 AA batteries. The tray itself is very solid and doesn't feel like breaking anytime soon. There is also a small carry handle on the soft padding. This makes it easy to use and transportable, whether you are on a train or at home. I would definitely recommend this product.

It is not well made but for the money the wife loves it! It is useful in terms of her sofa is not near a plug socket and the light is a real help in seeing her laptop keys when the lights are dimmed! She also wants to use it to read books and magazines and is genuinely pleased with it. It is what it is but for the money it is not expensive. We paid the price which included postage too! Not much else to say but the drinks holder is not advisable when there is a laptop on it. The battery compartment is hidden away in the base and has no on/off switch. This has to be operated from the light head itself.

I use this to craft while watching telly. It’s sturdy and comfortable and the light is lively and bright

The tray came in a cardboard presentation box which is a real positive as it is a present. The lap tray itself could do with a bit more padding - the beads are few and far between and given that they are likely to flatten with use I should imagine a refil is going to be needed sooner rather than later. the box for the batteries is placed in a little pocket in the base and as it is quite bulky it could definitely do with a bit more cushioning, I might look for a piece of foam to put around the battery box.The tray itself is a good size and I like the solid nature of the cup holder and pen inset. I have yet to try the light but it looks OK and it has a bendable arm so it can be arranged in whatever way is convenient to the user. The quality of the tray and how it attaches to the cushion is just about OK, could be smarter but there is nothing really wrong with it. There is a useful carrying handle in the same material as the cushion which I imagine will be useful.This was reasonable for the price and I am sure will be useful as a sturdy base for writing letters/cards.

So glad I order this for my Laptop if you read all the negative reviews it puts you off buying. It's a great tray. Haven't used it yet but I will soon. Good price and well packaged. The light is very bright love it. Can't wait to test it out. Believe me it brilliant forget the negative reviews it's one cool laptop tray with many uses.A*****

Like so many other people, i bought this as a gift for my Mum's birthday [ actually only about 3 months ago ] and yes fine at the time i thought it a good idea on account she was in need of a newer lap mat for her own computer and did think it a little odd in regards to having a drink holder as who would honestly want to mix liquid with their laptop? Honestly?Minor thing aside . . . . . . . .barely 3 months later and with being kept in one place due to back issues that my mother suffers so has not been moved much and already the padded case has split and leaking those little balls!!!!!!! And even looks as if it has been stuck to the plastic tray with glue of all things; come on - who in their right mind would do that???? Especially if it would be used by many people for their computer?And i only noticed this when i borrowed it for writing out something so for all i know that could have occured earlier than what i had noticed - waste of money and not even worth wasting time / money to return it to get a replacement. It would no doubt be cheaper to look elsewhere for a lap mat and end up spending less money on it that what i spent on this particular one.

The desk is sturdy and the lamp bright, the cushion is stuffed well enough to be comfortable but not too suffed that it doesn't sit easily on your lap. My only criticism is that the cup holder/pen slot aren't really usable if you have a laptop on the desk but then not everyone will be using it for a laptop.Overall, I think this desk is excellent, particularly as it's very reasonably priced.
