Taylor of Old Bond Street150g Grapefruit Shaving Cream Bowl

Taylor’s of old Bond Street have been making shaving products for over 100 years and this sandlewood fragranced cream lathers up really quickly and makes a lovely thick product. I bought this in January and it’s now September and I am just running out so if you want great shaves and value for money then this ticks all the boxes.

Lovely smell rich lather

The plastic bowl container looks very cheap...okay if this was intended as a 'refill' for the premium versionIt gives no hint whatsoever that you have just forked out a lot of money and are lrft with a container that could be for swarfega hand cleaner until you see the scroll on the lidI dont know if Taylors makes these to a generic size to fit the premium bowl they sell, its not obvious on Amazon or on Taylors siteI trawled around the site looking for a similarly scented post-shave balm etc as Taylors offer for Cedarwood Sandalwood scented options but no joyThats not the customer experience I expected from the super high-end TaylorsBut it if you only want the shave cream, its superb and different but I think Taylors missed a trick

This is lovely luxurious shaving cream, really lathers up well, and lasts forever.

I have purchased this product several times previously and have been very happy with it. I have also tried cheaper alternatives which I have not been very satisfied with.I decided to buy TOOBS again and have come to realise that I had been using it incorrectly in the past. My reason for trying different shaving soaps had been because they were a good deal cheaper. However, whereas I with the cheaper soaps I had to apply more on to my brush, I have found that the tiniest amount of Taylor's on the very tip of my brush will (with a minute or so's effort) will produce a rich lather, enhancing my shaving experience. Pretty obvious with hindsight.Having come to this realisation, I am happy to stay with TOOBS because it is not only the best product I have used, but it is hugely cost effective.

I have used this product for many years and continue to do so. The price seems to go up every time I purchase it but I like the product so continue to use it

This is perhaps the finest shaving cream I have ever known, and has led me to the compounding discovery that the purpose and utilization of loathsome Barbasol is, for lack of a better word, flagellation. Do not loathe and punish yourself with lesser shaving lubricants. Use this spectacular whipped sandalwood cream. It smells so good you will not want to use aftershave, and so fine is its quality that it may well not be necessary to soothe one’s aching inflamed skin, for this cream is to sensitive flesh what water is to a man dying of thirst.Ten out of ten.

I purchased two shaving cream from this seller but ended up getting three.When I placed an order second time I received the wrong scent (instead of The st.James collection I got mr.Taylors).The seller kindly agreed to send me the right scent and keep the wrong one without extra pay.The st. James collection scent is not overwhelmed it has the notes of bergamot and vanilla.It suits me well and I enjoy the magnificent scent.Excellent customer service. Highly recommend.

Excelente barbear

This shave soap is high quality with a wonderful aroma and provides a great cushion for wet shaving.

Unfortunately it was shipped in an envelope with no interior protection, the container was broken in pieces. Seller was quick to refund as they didn't have any in stock to replace it. I was able to salvage half of the shaving cream, it's excellent, very smooth and the Peppermint not overpowering. Worth the price !
