Metanium Everyday Barrier Ointment, Nappy Rash Protection, 40g Tube

The cream is easy to use and applies smoothly to the skin. Only a small amount is needed to create an effective protective barrier, so the tube lasts for a long time. I used it every day during the newborn stage, but now that the baby is 3 months old, I only use it occasionally whenever needed. I usually notice an improvement after just a few applications. It helps soothe redness/rritation, and rashes seem to clear up much faster when using it. The only problem is that sometimes too much product comes out when opening the tube, but overall it is a great cream and works really well. Also the price is okay.

This genuinely works for severe nappy rash. It can leave a white rubbery bits but this can be wiped off. Worth it when it actually helps.

Ok. So,I’ve a nursing background so I’m gonna write my review from my experience as a nurse. People get sore, be that from incontinence, skin friction or just poor personal hygiene because they are no longer able to do what they once did. Persistently wet skin and having to wear incontinence products is going to result in inflamed, sore skin at some point. Be that, in the more private parts or round the groins and upper thigh where incontinence products fit plus the area between the buttocks. Apply Metanium Cream liberally wearing gloves as it is an amazing product for reducing soreness quickly but its thick. It used to be yellow in colour, it’s now white but you still don’t wanna get it on any fabrics at home, including carpets as it’s just a rich consistency that’ll cling on for dear life. It’s great for healing and protecting our skin tho.

I would buy the yellow metanium constantly for my children , I found it to be the best for nappy rash. The only thing I didn't like was the yellow stains that it would love but I didn't mind compared to helping my kids sore bums. So I panicked when I see they were discontinued. Once I ran out of the yellow stuff I had to give this a try. And was pleasantly surprised. It worked juat as good as the yellow stuff but without the stains. I'm always stocked up on this as I can't see past it , i think it's the best for nappy rash and wouldn't use anything else. If you've not gave it a try , then I'd recommend it from one mum to another 😊

I bought this as my sister who is a nurse in the uk recommended it as it is used in hospitals from babies bums to the elderly and she said it works wonders I like the thick consistency although I don’t use disposable nappies so we don’t have to deal with nappy rash when we go on holiday we will be using disposable I will definitely be taking it with me just in case and I love the smell 😂

Would give this 10 stars if I could! My newborn was very sensitive and got bad rashes before using this product. She has not had any more rashes since using this product daily! A pea sized amount does the trick! Love love love it!!! I keep it in every diaper bag and advise all my mamma friends to try it!
