Decent solution for transporting large documents.
I needed to take some large map proofs with me on a cross-country journey, and I opted for this Jakar tube as my boss had previously used one for an international trip without incident. The most important thing to take away from my experience with this product was that my documents survived without incident, so I have no complaints regarding its core function. The telescopic mechanism is rock-solid and won't accidentally collapse, and the tube wall itself is very sturdy. It would take quite a lot of physical force to damage any contents, and I'd have no problem whatsoever leaving it in a luggage rack or sticking it in the hold of a plane.

It works
Ordered this for my Daughter's college art project, She's happy with it as it's expandable so all her different sized art projects can fit.The only thing is the courrier delivered it to a petrol station,?? & had the cheek to send us an email saying Your package has been delivered, to the Esso petrol station 2 miles away!! That wasn't even listed as a collection point. DPD!!So if you need this make sure it gets delivered to you!.

It's a bit tricky to extend but it does its job!
As the title says, the tube does its job and it has been very useful so far (no doubt it'll be useful in future as well!). I find it a little difficult to extend it, and once I do, I then find it a little difficult to lock. My friend had one of these (different brand) and his is easy to extend/lock so I know I am not doing it wrong. Might be just mine though, and I will still use it regardless so I am not complaining :) I could easily fit in my laminated A0 poster so I think you can get this with confidence!

Strap attachment to tube is poor.
Tube is good but the strap connection is really poor. Any weight and it will pull out. That is the only negative.

badly made and looks way cheaper than it cost
i wanted a tube to hold carbon fiber rods of 1000mm that i use in model making and decided on this, i lined up the marks on the inner tube with the outer one to extend the tube to 1000ml and the thing would not budge, i had to hold down the tube with my big toe on the strap attachment and use all my strength to extend it and after many attempts and loss of breath i finally managed it, what a performance it was. some people will say i must have not lined it up properly but i did, this one is very badly made and now i wish i had spent more money and got a decent tube that works. as i have managed to get the tube to the size i need i will not be returning it but if you are thinking of storing/transporting items of different sizes and want to adjust the size of the tube then don't bother with this teletube, spend more and you will be glad you did unlike me.

Excellent price, Fits up to 15 A0 Posters
Had to purchaase a couple of these last minute for a conference we ran. They arrived fast of course in two HUGE boxes. I am not even kidding, you get a tonne of card with these....Anyway the tube itself is good and extendable. It has a nice strap which you can adjust to have taught over your back if you choose. What you are probably most concerned about is capacity. If you roll them tight you can fit about 15 A0 posters in these... yes FIFTEEN. Thats pretty good I think?Anyway try it if you are after a tube, its as good as you get for the price.

Average quality but at least it protected a bunch of A0 sheets
Positives:- arrived quickly- cheap enough- adjustable length (slightly rotate half the tube and pull/push to length)- it has protected 20 tightly rolled sheets of A0 (which was the reason I needed it)Negatives:- the top of the strap is held in place by a pop-in clip (see photos), which constantly pops out leaving you grabbing for the tube as it drops off your shoulder- the strap is only just long enough when the tube is at its maximum for A0 sheets- the bottom of the strap came loose and the adjustable buckle fell off somewhere in Euston Station, so I've ended up having to tie the strap to the retaining clip (see photos)Overall, it's better than trying to find a plastic bag long enough, and possibly with fewer sheets of A0 the strap might not pop off as often. I carry the tube by its middle just in case.

Does the Job
The Teletube i ordered was not like the picture in colour but was all black which was preferable in my honest option. I mainly ordered this item to take a poster to comic con and get it signed and before the item is extended it fits a maxi poster in perfectly (61x91.5cm) and will allow you to fit a much bigger one that that also. The tube itself is made of plastic but it is not flimsy and I also believe it is not waterproof. It comes with a strap what is extendable so anyone can wear this item around their back.Overall it was exactly what I expected and does the job perfectly.
