Important for turtle owners to have.
Very good for the swimming water of my 2 little turtles i like seeing the bubbles it creates the most makes the water look fresh and makes some really nice pictures and videos out of it. Longevity of the calcuim block i believe lasts around 7 - 12 days size is perfect and the block itself prevents the aqautic tank smelling like a wet dog. Value for monies indeed and is exceptionally healthy for the turtles just don't think my filtration system agrees with it so i will have to clean inside my filtration system more regularly than before. As long as the turtles are happy then i am going to continue on buying these calcium blocks.

It breaks down slowly
A little calcium turtle to put in a turtle tank to help our turtles shell. Great product which slowly lets loose over time. Was lovely to see it break down and the turtle was happy with it in there. The little stream of air bubbles when placed in were a great experience too.

Good product
I am new to owning turtles so I wasn't too sure what I needed to aid with their health. I came across these and although it's difficult to know whether they actually work my turtles seem to be happy and healthy which is great.

Turtle Calcium Block!
My turtles didn't even touch it but it looked good and lasted a long time. It didn't make no mess or affected the water. Good product and well sealed.

Nice item but my terrapin broke it into pieces !
Well packaged and lovely looking. Unfortunately my large terrapin pretty much knocked into it until it broke up ! And made the water cloudy but if he left it I’m sure it would have been very good 😉

I can’t say enough good about doctor turtle. Honestly, it was one of those things I bought on a whim, & I was cleaning my 40 gal tank once every 3-5 days, like a full clean, constantly. I was worn down and really upset that no matter what I did or tried nothing worked to keep it even somewhat clear/healthy. In addition to what I normally do, this really seems to clear up the water and keep it healthy, it’s literally a blessing to me. It’s been 8 day’s and the water is still clear, so I’m all about that. Also using it with another brand calcium block and reptoguard so maybe they work well together. Whatever it is, I’ll never go back to what I was doing before and my turts seem much happier to not be moved to their holding tank a few times a week, less stress for them and much less stress and worry for me as well; we’re all happy as clams :) if you have a tank that won’t stay clean no matter what you try, give this a shot, in conjunction with a good filter, filter media, conditioner, reptoguard, and whatever else you add to your tank, I’m also currently using Paraguard and that seems to also work wonders, I was seeing these tiny worms in my filter and I haven’t seen them since I’ve been using the Paraguard so I’m a happy camper, fingers crossed they never stop making these products, just in case I’ll stock up, suggest any turtle lover does the same :)

I know many use the Dr Turtle Slow-Release Calcium Block for other pets, but I just want to note that it's perfect for my Mystery Snail. The water parameters stay at a perfect hardness to keep his shell a beautiful golden color and without pivots, cracks, or marks.
