New Replacement Ticking Quartz Young Town 12888 Clock Movement Mechanism Motor - DIY - Fittings - (Short - 14.5mm Total Spindle Length)

Replacement for favourite clock. Found product number on old one and was very easy to find and order replacement. (The hanging loop was not there as in the picture but I did not need that option anyway.) Easy to install and worked immediately. No sticky pads included which I needed but was able to reuse old ones.

A clock I have owned for many years stopped working. A complete replacement clock was no longer available. Taking the details from the existing mechanism I found a direct replacement on Amazon. Ordering a new mechanism it was delivered in a few days. It was easy to fit and worked perfectly when a battery was fitted. It keeps excellent time and I have a fully function clock.

Replacement for an existing clock mechanism that had failed. Exactly as described and an easy fix once I’d cut away the plastic hanger. Lots of these around with different shaft measurements so check carefully before buying

Excellent replacement for the movement in an old carriage clock...just had to snip off the plastic wall hanging fitting. Seems to keep good time too. NOTE: Contrary to what I was advised by some people pre-purchase, this mechanism DOES have a fitting for a sweep second hand. Fast delivery and correct advice from seller Clock Spare Parts. This was a replacement part to put in a clock that would only run for a couple of minutes before stopping. Thus slightly better as it runs for 2 days before it stops. Useless.

I purchased this part as a carriage clock I inherited from my mum stopped working. It was not just the batteryI searched on the web and found an item on Amazon that matched the part number. This is not a young clock ! I could not change it without expert help but was able to get a clock with some sentimental value working again. It is not an umarket item but functions well and is simple.So a great result - not expensive and delivered in tact and in time
