The Road to becoming a champion starts here
If you've ever wondered what makes a Champion in sport or in life, then this is the book that sets it out. This is not a theoretical pamphlet but an actionable guide which sets out each criteria you need to become the best you want to be - whatever that may be at.One of the positives of this book is you can dip into it again and again going over whether you have implemented the tried and tested techniques in the book.Another key part of the book is hands on commentary from top athletes who explain their mindset for winning and how it happened.Reading these books are useful if you are struggling to focus on achieving success in something. In my case, I want to be the best I can be at snooker, and this book has helped focus my mind on getting closer to that goal. With the help of this focus in this book, lots of practice, and coaching, I made my first break over 50!It helped me focus and give clarity, so give it a read, and see if it helps you.You can use this book whenever you are feeling negative about your confidence or need inspiration to keep motivated.

All-in-one for modern sports psychology
I loved this book, because it summarises most modern sports psychology theories and provides you with practical exercises to make use of them. It’s awesome if you want to work on your mindset, but can’t afford to work with a professional. It’s helped me a lot

a great read
This is definitely one of the best sports performance books I've read. I leant something from every page and unlike some similar books, it didn't fade away in the final few chapters,I would thoroughly recommended it to anyone looking to improve their sports performance through their mental game.

One of the best readings on the matter at all
I have indeed been into sports psychogy since 1983 and this chef-d'oeuvre is having it laid out very clearly in words and images. Mr.Jim Afremow does not beat around the bush. Work with his methods, and you will shine! One of the best readings on the matter at all! Yes aye indeed! Go look forward to getting into his way of practising the best sports psychology that you'd find.at all. Mr Afremow rules! Yours truly SEY

Great read; very thought provoking with lots of useful tips
Really have enjoyed reading this book. Not quite at the end but have been through what I have carefully and highlighted all the major points much of which I plan on implementing as part of my training.

Not great
Enjoyed maybe the first two thirds of the book then got bored. Just going over the same stuff over and over I felt. Skim read the second half of the book, and was glad to have finished it.

Good content
This book has a lot of great content covering many of the aspects that contribute to making a champion. Time to re-read it and go through it all again, it's worth it.
