My nails have been thin and flaky for as long as I can remember - probably because I've been a nail-biter for as long as I can remember too! I've been really good about not biting my nails for the past year, but my nails are still quite fragile and I was constantly having to cut them down and file them after splitting. I was recommended this by a friend. It comes with your standard nail varnish brush applicator, and it goes on easy. It dries down quickly and leaves a somewhat rubbery base behind. Personally, my preference at the moment is natural nails, so I put on a couple of coats of the ORLY Bonder, then a clear matte top coat to dull the shine. Not only does it do a great job as a base coat, but my nails don't flex half as much as they used to, nor do they flake or split! The tops of my nails are longer than they've ever been, and that includes the short time that I went for regular gel appointments too. At the price, it's a great product and I highly recommend trying it for anyone struggling to grow their nails.

I was sceptical because of the reviews, but my sister purchased it first and could not stop revving about it. When I bought it, I understood why. Compared to other base coats, the lack of thickness when applying work in your favour. Because it dries really fast, you can apply your regular nail polish at any speed without worrying about bumps etc. Usually my basecoats give me up to 3 days of chip/free nails. At best this one gives me about 5 days. But I’m also really picky, when I see one tiny chip- everything must go. But if you can live with small chips, it could probably last you a full week.

I have some China Glaze nail polish in a great colour, but it chips if I look at it too hard! A Google search suggested that using this as a base coat may help. Day 4, usual chores and activities. Not a ding!!!! It also works really well as a sticky base for advanced nail stamping.

This base coat is superb and kept my bright nail varnish chip free for 5 days in fact only the edges of my nail tips were slightly worn and it dries almost instantly I’ve never used a base coat that actually made any difference before so I will definitely be purchasing again - good value for money as I can see it’s going to last a good while

I found Orly Bonder recommended across many lacquerista forums when I was looking into how to stop my polish from chipping as often and to last longer. I tried it myself and I would have to agree with the recommendations I found. Since I started using Orly Bonder I find I get a full week at least from my polish with no chipping or peeling. I also find that when I do want to take the polish off it's easier to sometimes peel the entire nail's polish off in one go, or removing it with acetone and it comes off easily. Nails are never stained no matter what colour polish I use, thanks to this base coat. I find it has definitely helped the longevity of my polish wear, it stops polishes staining my nails, and it makes removal very easy. I also find it great value for money as the bottle lasts a long time, even with weekly manicures I see my bottle lasting several months. Highly recommend!

I use this with so many different brands of nail polish (opi, essie) Makes the manicure last me for well over a week ( I just like to refresh it every week but you can get away with it for longer) pretty lightweight and gives thin layers which is nice for a base coat. Orly brushes are one of my faves, perfect size for my nails and not too flexible like you find with cheaper nail polishes. Well worth the price I will always re-purchase this item.

This base coat is fantastic. The rubber cap makes it very easy to open even when the cap is stuck on a little bit, and it's quite a large bottle too! I use Orly Bonder to apply chrome powder onto regular nail polish and it works fantastically! Would buy again :-)

I’ve struggled with my nails for years. Traditional polish would peel off within hours, and while gel manicures lasted longer, repeated use and removal gradually left my nails thinner and more damaged. I had pretty much accepted that long-lasting manicures just weren’t in the cards for me. Then I discovered Orly Bonder. I honestly wasn’t expecting much, but the difference has been dramatic. For the first time, I can keep a manicure looking good for 7–10 days without major chipping or peeling. My polish adheres better, my nails stay protected, and I’m no longer constantly touching up or starting over. The biggest surprise is that my natural nails are actually improving. Instead of relying on gels or enhancements, I’ve been able to grow my own nails while keeping them polished and protected. Combined with regular nail oil and gentle filing, this has completely changed my nail routine. I’ve tried a lot of nail products over the years, and very few have made such an obvious difference. If you struggle with polish longevity, this is the one product I’d recommend first.

Excellent product, excellent service

There is nothing quite like this bonder. It feels like a high quality rubber finish. Most recently, I’ve used it to seal a badly-damged nail while it was under repair. It worked liked NOTHING else could have. It’s great as a basecoat for regular nail polish too, of course. My go-to. Highly recommend.
