came in good condition, books look good not got round to reading them yet

Simply the greatest fantasy story every put to paper. Beautifully written in every single regard. A masterpiece.

The books themselves are phenomenal. Tolkien is a genius and I loved these books so read them! The product however…As mentioned I think for the box set this price is absolutely reasonable the print is nice and the covers are pretty. However if you wanted this for decoration or to last (especially if you take forever to finish a book) this book will damage easily. The box for the set is very thin and poor quality. The colour comes off extremely easily. The pages and cover bend out of shape so easily. I’m someone who likes to look after my books and have them looking pretty In their sets on the shelf but this one just got bust up so quickly even when well looked after.If none of the above bothers you and you just want to read the books then it’s great value for money.
