Holds a large amount of water
I know this product from when I lived in America. It has a magnifying effect so the numbers are easy to read. It holds 5 ins, which is a lot more than most gauges. Since it’s from America, it is quite expensive, but worth it.

Poor quality
After only a few months the paint started coming off. It was just mounted stationary, no movement.

One of the most reliable rain gauges available.
Had one of these a long time ago. Worked great till it died of old age and abuse. Replaced it with a different kind that was prettier in the flower bed, but never worked that well. Don't know why we didn't replace it right away. Finally did. Easy to read. I just stick it into the dirt in a tall flower pot. Easy peasy. Makes it very simple to empty. It has screw slots to mount it to a post if you want. The walls are angled on the inside so it has a much better chance of surviving a freeze, the death of most rain gauges. It's not exactly pretty, but it is unobtrusive and blends in. We're happy.
