let me try to address the potential questions, rather than the obvious. 1. how sturdy is the pen held in place? very, it will not fall off the keyring unless you physically try to remove it. 2. does it ever accidentally extend while its in your pocket? Nope! stays closed 3. does it ever leak in your pocket? nope! had it a long time now, never an issue! 4. what is the writing quailty like? exactly like a biro 5. is it comfortable to use? as an emergency pen... very comfortable. better than multitools that include a pen. but do not consider it a main pen, you will not enjoy writing an essay with it. just good for quick notes. 6. do the refills run out quick? if your using it as its designed - and emergency pen for quick notes - no, lasts forever, plus it includes 3 refills!! if you think you will use this pen everyday, then don't waste your time here. 7. how big is it as a keyring? will not feel like its there untill the day you need it. its very small and slim, about the length of a key. size should not be a sticking point for anyone who is on the fence about buying it, because it ticks that box with flying colours. hope these short and concise Q and A help someone who is unsure!

I had a similar one years ago, and I recall it had great quality with very smooth retraction of the pen and the snap of the cap, but I lost it. So I bought this one hoping it is the same. This is a great deal including an extra key ring, and also 3 spare pen inserts. One slight disappointment is that when I first pull the pen out, the cap cylinder part detached from the end part, pulled off along with the pen. I fixed it by using super glue to glue it back, and it seems to be okay for now, but some day over time the glue will wear off and it will come off again. But this is not a major issue I guess, not like I am using this for surgery. The pen write well, smooth with enough friction. The retraction feels a bit stiff, but it might loosen up over time. For the price I think I have no complaint

Brilliant product. Its usefulness is obvious - there are so many times we just need to write something down and a pen is not always available to hand - well, now it will be. The pen is very sturdy and I do not think there is much chance of it coming loose as it requires a pretty firm pull to release it. Along with the telescopic pen on a small keyring you also get a large (main) keyring and 3 additional refills. I wish I'd seen this before Christmas as it is creatively/interestingly packaged and useful for pretty much anyone (BTW, it does look extremely difficult to open but you just need to insert a sharp knife between any space you find between the clear plastic and thick cardboard and run it round - it just kind of slices open!).

This is a great idea, however the actual pen is not that great. It often falls out of the holder ( meaning I've lost it a lot) and the writing is not good with it, I have to constantly rewrite things because the ink is not coming out smoothly. Very handy to have a pen always on you, this just isn't done very well

While on face value it's easy to dismiss as a cheap stocking filler which I think is how it was received by a family member on their birthday. I bought two, one for me and one for my Brother in Law. I personally felt like the product was good value, not cheap but sturdy and a great must have attachment to any key chain, manbag, handbag, car keys, machine gun, tank or knuckle duster. *The last 3 items are not in my possession. Thankfully. You literally never know when a birthday card or contract needs to be signed in an emergency on the road or in a layby or supermarket car park on the way to your friends house.... yes yes that actually happened. Buy it now and your future self will thank you. I will probably buy a few more at the end of the year as Christmas Presents. Great idea.

This little telescopic pen extends from 61.5 mm when stowed in its cap (not incl the ring) to 120 mm for writing, and it has a diameter of 7 mm. Yes the ink cartridges are small at 40 mm overall and the ink tube (30 mm) is only just over half filled but its ideal as an emergency backup for occasional use and takes up hardly any room in an EDC pouch.

Una pennetta di emergenza nel mazzo di chiavi è sempre utile e, per quanto piccola, si usa agevolmente (tanto mica ci dovete scrivere la divina commedia mentre siete in giro), veramente un prodotto fantastico. Menzione d'onore alla scatolina a tenuta stagna che lo contiene, robusta, ben fatta e soprattutto utilissima! Per evitare altra gente che scrive robe del tipo "tempo x giorni e l'ho già persa bla bla bla sconsigliata!", istruzioni: - NON reinseritela nel suo cappuccio DOPO averla richiusa su se stessa, altrimenti non si aggancia giusta perchè non va abbastanza in profondità e finisce che la perdete e vi lamentate; - con la penna ancora allungata afferrate tra le dita il primo dei cilindretti di estensione (quello che ha la punta della biro, per intenderci) e infilate la punta nel cappuccio, facendo quel minimo di pressione dovreste sentire un "clic" - con la punta saldamente inserita nel cappuccio ora richiudete la biro su se stessa - godetevela ogni volta che vi serve Consegna Amazon impeccabile e pure un giorno in anticipo

Muy útil, viene bien en más ocasiones de lo que uno se imagina. Cuando está cerrado es más pequeño de lo que parece en la foto, no es más largo que cualquier llave de tu llavero, no pesa absolutamente nada y hace menos bulto en el llavero de lo que pensaba. Una vez abierto se mantiene bien extendido y se escribe con facilidad, aunque es un bolígrafo bastante incomodo para escribir. Viene con 3 recambios.
