Amazing story

Very good

A great Tintin story. Really good, exciting story in an exotic location with Herges peerless artwork. Good old fashioned adventure with a highly original plot, and some lovely touches of humour. One of my favourites. I mean my son's favourites. I'm a forty eight year old man, what would I be doing with a Tintin book?

A fun and exciting story - good for 10 year olds who like Tin Tin. I'm looking forward to adding more to my Tin Tin collection. (review Joel aged 10)

As a child, I remember going to the library and checking out the Tintin books and being drawn into the adventure, wishing I could be Tintin. Now in my late 20's, I have decided to purchase all the Tintin books so that when my 2 year old is a bit older, I can share the world of Tintin with him :-D

I loved Tintin as a young girl, and have introduced these books to my 6 year old son - who loves them too. He reads them on his own, as well as being read to. This seemed to me to be one of the better ones. Previous stories we have read can tend to go around in circles, as Tintin escapes from one capture to another without much else going on in the plot. This one had plot progression, and more variety in the 'sticky situations'. Best of all, my son laughed and laughed at the daft antics of the The Thomson Twins, who feature a lot in this one (Captain Haddock only appears at the end), as well as the visual comedy of Snowy.

Classic Tintin adventure with lovely traditional drawing and bright colours. If you are a fan this is a must have. Gentle and rather old fashioned it takes you back to a different time and place.

Tintin is great "from ages seven to seventy-seven", and this is a particularly good one for getting the kids started as Tintinophiles. The incredibly spoiled brat Abdellah is a wonderful source of belly laughs.

J'ai acheté ce livre en anglais pour mon fils, on le lit à deux et de ce fait, deux générations profitent d'un moment convivial et instructif !

Loved it

Me ha llegado en el tiempo previsto y en perfecto estado. Está en inglés. Ya tengo toda la colección en español y en inglés, (aunque el original sea en francés). Me ha parecido interesante, de cara a los idiomas, poder volver a leer los comics de esta colección en inglés.
