Very nice chair, colour not what I was expecting
This is a nice chair but possible useful feedback for other people. I thought the colour was blue and pale blue but it's a slight optical illusion, the main stripes are actually brown. It's also quite a high seat. We were given a delivery window of 8am to 6pm which is a very long time not to be able to leave the house but in early afternoon we phoned the courier with our tracking reference and were able to get an estimated time of delivery.

I received the chair within a couple of days and it was perfect for my needs, the staff at Beumont home furnishings we really polite and helpful. The chair has been a godsend to me as I have a lumbar prmoblem and the chair has eased my pain and for that I would have given all the tea in china. the whole process was well oiled and the chair is now MY chair. I've just taken delivery of this chair which I ordered Monday, the seller rang me Tuesday to advise delivery today Wed. Beautifully made chair, strong & sturdy. Its already pride of place in my summerhouse and I will shortly be ordering another in cream for my living room as its perfect for anyone with back issues. Highly recommend this chair and the service and also the super quick delivery...well deserving of a 5* review.

First thoughts: better than expected
Chair arrived today, much earlier than expected - full marks for the delivery side of things. It seems to be a study, well-built chair and considerably better than I expected, given the relatively modest price. The fabric is stronger and better quality than it appears in the company photographs. The cording and general sewing has been done to a high standard. The angle of the cushion to the lower back is perfect for me at 1.80 metres. Legs are sturdy and were easy to fit. At 104 cms the back is a bit higher than most of the similar chairs that I looked at and that works well for me. As regards the width, depth and general strength of the cushion, it's exactly right for someone of my weight, approx 12.5 to 13 stone male, . Overall, I'm pleased with as it looks a piece of furniture that will last well. Only one small quibble, I agree with Ruth 's review above that in brighter light the brown tones of the chair predominate, but in a few minutes of sunlight just now, the blue came out stronger. I think it's an attractive mix of light brown, grey-blue and cream with darker blue stripes, and it looks great in my study. Will consider buying another one for elsewhere in the house.
