how often can you use one pair?

I haven't found that they need replacing frequently. i've been sleeping with the same pair for 2 weeks, and quality has not noticeably deteriated

I can hear my alarm no problem. It's about a yard away from my head. You will definitely hear the vibration if you have it switched on.
