NOT EVEN ONE
I ordered the seeds in June, did everything by the book ! Bought the peat moss , planted each seed , watered a bit, put them in a big zip lock bag , put in fridge until October, took them out, set them in the sun to warm up,then put them in my sunroom right in front of the window, and misted them daily with water spray bottle. And NOTHING !! Not even one . Would live another batch to try, but I guess I'm just out of my $$ and my time sadly 😥

Germinating Japanese Maples Seeds
For those not successfully germinating these seeds. Please remember, all Japanese Maple Seeds need to soak for 24 hours in warm water. Afterwards, they need to be placed in a plastic ziplock and refrigerated for 90 days. They require cold temps to stratify and grow properly. These trees require a lot of patience.

They won’t grow
I don’t proclaim myself as a Gardner but I just play one on TV. That being said 6 weeks patiently waiting to see a sprout and nothing but mold staring to grow. I think the seeds were petrified when they arrived in a sealed plastic bag. Likely shelved somewhere and baked before they arrived. Would suggest purchasing local. Good luck everyone!

No seeds sprouted
I tried several different methods of germination of these seeds, no success. I tried soaking seeds in wet paper towels nothing. I tried direct soil contact again nothing. Both methods were conducted in a controlled environment in my greenhouse.

The seeds never grew
I soaked the seeds for 24 hours when I got them in water I planted them the next day in a pot so I could keep an eye on them, and I never saw the first one came up.
