Hi, no this is not a replacement for solder wire. This is flux paste - to help with the soldering / desoldering process. For a soldering replacement MG Chemicals do have a conductive epoxy that will work in most cases. Please search for MG Chemicals 8331-14G silver conductive epoxy.Kind regards,

This is a rosin based flux and as such would be considered corrosive. Wipe down surfaces after use.
