I decided to try a disk because pads and tampons are such an expense. I have issues using tampons because the way my uterus is tilted and my cervix is far back, I usually bleed around tampons, and I just don’t enjoy wearing pads, they’re uncomfortable and don’t sit in place while I am active in any way, or even sleeping.I ordered the shordy 2 pack because it was my first time using any reusable menstrual product. I have a pretty light flow (i can’t even fill a light tampon in 6 hours) but I also have a very high cervix and I’ve had a baby. I tried the small one first, being that I have such a high cervix, it wasn’t opening correctly which led to continuous leaking. I decided to try the larger one. This one opened up correctly pretty much immediately for me. I used it for 2 days and got confident in removing it. I realized I wasn’t using the stem at all and it was really just there for peace of mind. Well, I decided to remove the stem because it was sort of uncomfy. First time I tried to remove it without the stem, I realized it was kind of just “spinning” around and not really coming out, it was almost suctioned. I kept trying throughout the day and squatting, relaxing. I ended up going to the er because it was actually stuck behind my cervix. Word of advice: I would not remove the stem if you have a high cervix 🤣I do think the shordy brand is a wonderful affordable option for first timers wanting to invest in reusable menstrual products. I love the option and the affordability of the 2 pack. If you’re not sure if disks will work for you and you don’t want to invest too much your first time, this is definitely the right set to go with. I am recommending this set to everyone, even my nurses that were super intrigued at my visit 🤣

I love the smaller 60mm size disc from Shordy! It was easy to insert (just need to ensure it’s under your cervix), and it did NOT leak! The rim is firm yet flexible as other reviewers have stated and the silicone feels and moves just like other medical grade brands I’ve seen and used. I’ve been a Diva cup user for several years and wanted to move away from the suction seal and space it takes up in the canal. Heard great things about discs. When I first tried, I used Nixit which is 70mm and it was WAY too big and I learned it definitely is not ‘one size fits all’ as they promote. The large for Shordy is 68mm which is still smaller than Nixit’s one size. I’ve only tried the smaller one which I bought and received within 24 hours (super fast delivery and just in time for my cycle). It has survived 12 hours of my heaviest day with many bodily functions, including sneezing, and not budged. I’m so impressed and so relieved to have found a product that works. Size does matter and the fact Shordy provides two for such an affordable price (I paid $15 on sale but it’s under $20 normally vs Nixit which is about $54), makes it all the more worth it to purchase and try. Especially for new users like myself. The pull string really helps with removal. I DO find it irritating and too long so I tucked it up and then untuck before removal to assist in getting it out and it works perfectly - I don’t feel it. Honestly, this disc has restored my faith in more eco friendly period product options. I’m so glad I found it and have already been recommending it to friends.

Love this product! So easy to use! Doesnt leak at all! Absolutely amazing! Had used cups in the past and found them uncomfortable, fiddly to use and awkward! The disc is an absolute game changer.

There’s a learning curve, do not forget to take it out, the problem is that is so comfortable that you forget you have it, and the auto dumping system it works like a charm, incredible!.

Compré debido a que viene en juego y en la descripción estaba bastante claro el tema de las tallas por si estabas indecisa entre las tallas pues es más fácil coger el juego, sin embargo los discos son bastantes grandes ambos aunque la talla S es la más pequeña es enorme e incómoda. No puedo devolverlo por razones obvias y no hay solución. Si piensas comprarlo verifica muy bien la talla y si no no lo hagas es mucho más grande la descripción mucho más grande de lo esperado la talla S pareció una L y la L simplemente enorme!!! Es una pena.
