Wenger GA-7357-02 Carbon 17 Inch Mac Backpack - Black I use a back pack daily, and also travel overseas and use it as hand-luggage on airplanes. The Wenger replaces a trusty bag that I've used for about 10-years, but is a very much better design. Things I like: - The pockets accept a 13" Macbook pro, and an Ipad (both have soft-cases), charger / cables, security cable, adapters, iphone and cable. Value in excess of £2000. - There is also room for paper work in three or four cardboard folders to a thickenes of at least 10cms. - In addition there are eight internal pockets (some zipped) that make a safe, but accessable place for slim items, plus pen tubes and a key-ring. I can add the usual travellers things (underpants, socks, toothbrush, razor) without any effort. - The base is sturdy and doesn't flop over when on the floor. - There are two looops at the top, one of which is a sturdy metal handle for easy carrying or lifting. - The shoulder straps are strong, and adjustable, and the surface that sits on one's back is padded and shaped for comfort. - The materials are high quality, and very durable. (The same stuff as my old one, that has lasted without a fault). I agree with the comment that the size may not take a 17" laptop. If this is important to you, then order it on a try-and-return basis. I think this is a super bag. I've inspected and rejected a number of expensive brands, because they didn't suit my needs, or they were over-priced. This bag is well designed, looks good, is sturdy and durable, and good value for money. I anticipate that I will use it every day for years to come. The supplier was "Tigerbags" who provided excellent service.

I purchased this backpack last year for the start of college and have been extremely happy with it so far, no a single fault in my opinion I have used this backpack for both college and for traveling and it is still going strong. Not a hint of a tear or rip so far and I usually have the bag packed, especially when I have used it for traveling...and I have packed the backpack tight and very heavy. With all the weight, it still feels comfortable with the padded back and shoulder straps. My laptop (Samsung 700Z Series 7 Chronos 17.3-inch Laptop) fits perfectly in the back compartment, with the flap going over and attaching to the velcro perfectly and the zips closing easily. All the additional features are true: stands upright, airflow to back, decrease strain on back and shoulders, has plenty of space for laptop, books, etc,, plenty of pockets and room, etc. One or two have commented about the weight, it is a little heavier than most, but you are paying for quality material, plus it still feels comfortable, and fits perfect on the back/shoulders. You are getting a great bag that is very durable and well made that feels comfortable to carry and has more than enough room for a 17 inch laptop with plenty of space and pockets for everything else!

This is a really good, strong item; I am glad I purchased it. My previous backpack was smaller, and the zip was off after using it for 5 years, but I hope this one will last for a long time.

This is a replacement of one exactly the same I had for over 5 years. Its a comfortable rucksack and durable. The bottom ended up with a hole in eventually - hence the replacement! Love all the compartments and pockets

Comfy ard the shoulders. Room enough for the essentials. Laptop compartment hides and protects it well enough. Would hve preferred also a waist strap to hold bag closer to the body and shoulder strap length adjuster does look like it may slip eventually. Will hve to test it in the rain for water protection. And zipper solution required for pickpocket protection.

Excellent quality and the extra 5 litres makes all the difference over my previous Wenger. Definitely worth the extra £10

This was bought for my cousin as I have been using the same Wenger model but not the (bad-ass) carbon version for more than 5 years now. (4 years in the university and 1 and a half year at work) Very solid design, durable, spacious. Describing solid design and spacious: The model is made in such a way that it could fit any 17inch laptop and has space for various other items such as books, cases, tools etc. Describing durable: The materials that the backpack is made of are very good and I best is the reason why it still usable after 5 years of everyday use. Now in terms of comfort-ability I did feel a bit exhausted because of the weight I was carrying but I bet it would have been more difficult if it wasn't this backpack. If you are looking for something very durable this is the backpack to go for. Probably the best buy I did in a backpack. P.S. A friend of mine saw my backpack when he went to the university and without second thought he also bought one :P

Marque Wenger. Très bon sac et d’excellente qualité. Pleins de poches un peu partout et agréable à porter avec le système d’absorption des chocs. Une fois sur le dos, même si il est lourd à la base on ne sent pas le poids. Par contre j’ai acheté un autre modèle plus grand pour ma fille et celui là par contre il s’est abimé très vite. Du moins les élastiques.

La uso para trabajar y es una gozada, muy muy resistente, siempre va cargada al maximo y después de unos meses usándola apenas se le nota uso, se ha roto un plastico pequeño del asa pero por lo demas, todo perfecto y genial. Muy recomendable! Actualizacion: La compre a finales de 2016 y aun la sigo usando en agosto de 2021. Sin duda se nota el desgaste, pero con este nivel de uso lo raro es que siga entera. Yo la uso por trabajo y la mochila viaja por toda españa de Lunes a Viernes el 90% del año. Las cremalleras siguen como el primer dia, no se han roto y no se aprecia desgaste. las asas se conservan bastante bien aunque en una hay que dar alguna puntada. Los bolsillos interiores siguen enteros, no ha habido roturas de ningún tipo. El velcro del bolsillo del portatil esta en las ultimas pero continua agarrando. La malla del bolsillo interior en la parte grande esta entera, sin roturas. la malla del compartimento mediano también. La base de la mochila por la parte exterior esta un poco deteriorada, normalmente cuando se ha rozado, con un poco de loctite lo he solucionado y como si nada. Voy a comprar una nueva pero no por que esta esté rota. simplemente se nota un poco el desgaste y para trabajar no da la imagen mas adecuada. Es una mochila que he visto a mucha gente en los aeropuertos. Esta hecha para durar.
