Great budget binoculars.
Reviewing these after having them in use for a couple of months. For the money they seem to be a great choice. Image brightness & clarity is very good but does blur a tiny bit at the edges, although this isn’t a major problem. I’ve put the waterproofing to the test in some really bad weather & seen no issues here. They appear to be well made & robust & I’ve been very happy with them. Some will be wondering & yes they’re made in China but, so were an Olympus set I checked out... At almost twice the price! Image quality wasn’t significantly better either.

Good optics
Light, easy to use good all round.Great value for the money. Used on a visit to skomer island, were very good for viewing within their allotted range. Need to buy a second pair of binoculars and was going to buy a more expensive pair but am not sure I need to spend more.

Excellent for the price
Excellent for the price. Though a little larger than the usual compact binoculars, the 32mm objectives mean that these binoculars are smaller and lighter than standard optics yet still have a pretty good performance in low light. Image is nice and clear and they feel quite rugged.

You will not be disappointed
I am just getting back into birdwatching and my old Opticron bins had seen better days (and lots of sparrows). The cost of servicing them was about what these Polaris bins cost, and so I bought them. They are superb, I have tried and tested more expensive bins but these are as good as anything I have tried. I don't claim to be an expert but, they are well made and do exactly what I want. I was going back for the 8x42's but they seem to have sold out. They are very well made and you will not be disappointed, especially at this price.

Reasonable for the money
Had my doubts about these but I decided to keep them. The image in the centre is sparkling but the image degrades significantly not too far off-centre.For £59 I suppose you get what you pay for.Low light performance is pretty good. I’m comparing them to a set of £150 10x42 Nikons which are of course superior in all respects.I do like them and their compact size and they definitely offer assistance in viewing distant objects.

No toys here.
I bought these for my 6 yr old nephew thinking they would be one step up from a toy. I was very pleased to find quality viewing through them way beyond what I expected. To clarify, I use Leica Ultravids daily and have had Swarovski but these little budget bins are well worth the money.

Lightweight with a comfortable neck strap and very clear image
Lightweight with a comfortable neck strap and very clear image. Find the view is better with the spectacle cups in use even without specs on . Can't figure out why. Excellent value for money. I love them!
