I use it for removing body hair - It's brilliant
I have sensitive skin and get terrible rashes which last for weeks after any form of hair removal. This product has been a godsend. It goes much further than hair removal creams such as Nair and Veet (which didn't even work for me), and hasn't caused irritation. Seems to work fine absolutely anywhere. My only criticisms are the smell isn't the nicest and it's difficult to mix into paste (tends to float on the water for a long time but just keep mixing and it works eventually) - which are tiny issues and worth it for the low price.

Effective but smells bad
Worked effectively on all areas of my body, hard to mix but if you keep at it it mixes into a thick paste eventually, it melted my hairs right off, I left it 7 minutes and wiped off with a wet flannel. Cons - the stench, honestly not sure if itโs worth it due to the stench alone, it reeks of fish and animal urine it stings my nostrils. However it was faster than shaving!

Plastic free and AMAZING
So, I have sensitive skin, I know everyone says that but I do. For me razors are not great and hair removal cream... definitely not great. This cream however is AMAZING. I can vary the thickness of the mixture, I can make as little or as much as I need. Yeah the smell whilst using it is about the same as most hair removal creams but I've found it doesn't stick to me, so when it's washed off that's it, it's gone. Also, I've found that it really does work very well and I don't have any issues with skin sensitivity from it so that a huge win for me. The amounts you get for your money is more than double what you'd get in a tube and it's recyclable so all you plastic warriors out there can use it guilt free.

Left skin sensitive and painful
It's a great little shaving powder to just quickly get rid of hair but after first use, I probably will not reach for this again. I made the paste, put it on my legs, all was fine until straight after taking it off (5 minutes - the recommended time) it instantly irritated my legs. They were so sore and painful. My skin was throbbing and i can't understand why because i followed all of the instructions perfectly. This is definitely not for sensitive skin, this stuff irritates. I should of trusted what others said because i'll be left with sore legs until my hair grows back now. I'll stick to shaving.

Left patchy results and chemical burns on my face
I'm not a complete stranger to depilatory products having previously used Veet and Nair on my legs (and other areas) with no issues. I came across some reviews for Magic Shaving Powder and thought, why not, I'll give it a go, it's cheaper than buying the creams. Big mistake. As it's designed for the face, I thought I'll start there and use it for it's designed application before moving "lower". I followed the instructions, did a patch test, etc, and it was OK. Not perfectly smooth, but not too bad and quicker than a full-on wet shave (I've got a straight blade razor tucked away in the cupboard). I then mixed up a batch to do the rest of my beard and it was feeling fine. No stinging or burning, not even a slight tingle when it was on. Jumped in the shower to wash it off and it started to sting a little, but I figured that was probably just the flannel catching on some of the hairs as it wiped them off. I then got out and had a look in the mirror to find it had given horrible, patchy results (even the bits it had worked on weren't as smooth as the test patch), and also some bright red chemical burns. I jumped straight back in the shower and stayed there with the water cascading over my face for at least another 20 minutes to make sure that there was none left on my skin to make it any worse. I'm now sitting here at around 10pm wondering if I need to jump on my bike and head up to the hospital because it's burning so much. Not a chance that I'm going to try it again, especially where I had originally planned to use it. Would not like to have to explain that one to A&E. PS. Sorry for the views up my nostrils, was trying to show the patchy results and burns (one with and one without flash).

Smooth as...
Amazing product; though it does take a bit of mixing first. I have found the best way was to add a little cold water to the powder at a time as too much too soon made the powder 'float' on the water and was harder to work in. Once mixed in you get a really creamy mixture which is easy to apply to your skin. The results were amazing, really smooth skin in areas where I normally get razor burn or bumps.

Good unisex product!
Once you get used to mixing this up into a paste ( which is obviously more faff than a ready made cream) this product is great for several reasons. Most importantly for me, it is gentle; my skin can react badly to products and I have used this stuff for about 6 months now. It IS important to follow the timings or it can irritate. I find that a water spray bottle helps to speed up the mixing stage. I apply with bare hands ( it's that gentle) use the stopwatch on my phone for an accurate 5 mins, then scrape it off with a plastic card. Rinsing with warm water only, followed by moisturiser, finishes the job. It does not kill the hair roots so regrowth is quicker than with other depilatory products, but it is so economical that it's no problem. I just use it about once a week as part of a usual beauty routine. I know it was designed for blokes, but it's great for women too!

Messy and not very effective
No, just no. It removed some hair, but the smell is just so awful. Itโs less effective than other hair removal products Iโve tried and a lot messier too.

Buen producto
Va muy bien para afeitarse en seco con afeitadora electrica, aunque creo que no hay gran diferencia con utilizar polvos talco.

Add water super gradually, mix and apply with a makeup brush and you'll be sweet!
Yet to successfully try it on my face as I'm both more sensitive and more dense there, but used this on my body for 6 minutes approx after mixing as described in headline. It smells a little more than the gold one (which I've been using for 6 months) though as far as I could tell it's no worse than Nair or Veet. On the upside, my skin feels a little less dry afterwards. Definitely still a good idea to apply moisturizer after you get out of the shower. It says not to wash off with soap, but I've done just fine using an organic body wash (Sukin) after rinsing and wiping thoroughly with the cloth.

A great product, but DO NOT USE ON BALLSACK.
This stuff works by literally melting your hair off (it'll do it to your fingernails, too so don't leave it sitting on your nails). It's difficult to mix until you get the hang of it (pack it to the side of your salsa bowl or whatever you're using and then force the water into it with your finger) but get it into a nice paste, put it on any body part you want, find out the time to leave it on that works best for you (The directions say 5-7 minutes, but I have to leave it on for 8-10 minutes, because I have abnormally strong hairs. I can't even shave with a normal razor, I have to use the Schick Hydro 5 Power Select to be able to shave properly. I also wear out razors way way faster than is normal, and yes I use shaving cream and take care of the razors.), make sure it doesn't dry out (it needs to stay somewhat slippery) and then scrub off in the shower with a plastic loofa and it will leave your skin smoother than my ass when I was born, according to an authority on the subject (LOL). Hydrates your skin phenomenally well and removes any dead or dry skin that may be giving you trouble. I have used this once on my legs, fingers and groin after shaving my body regularly for about a year now, and it was much, MUCH less damaging to my skin, and even rejuvenated my dry and damaged skin as mentioned previously. My only issue with this product, as you may guess from my title, was when I decided to use this on my groin, as it had done such wonders for my legs. Let's just say I'm glad I also recently purchased a 13oz tub of vaseline because hoo BOY did this stuff burn the hell out of my balls. It actually might blister is how bad it is, and left a visible burn. It only burned the very front of my ballsack, and was fine everywhere else, but my skin right there was just too sensitive for this stuff. Perhaps others could get away with using this there, as I have pretty sensitive skin, but here's your warning regardless. Good: -Very close shave, resulting in exceptionally smooth skin. -Rejuvenates skin exceptionally well. Bad: -Difficult to mix until proper technique is learned. -Must be kept moist at all times. It'll be a hassle to some of the people who wish to use this on their body, instead of their face. I recommend doing this in your shower, standing outside of the water so the air is very humid, and you may daub a small amount of water onto wherever is necessary. -Will take hair off of ANY body part, so you have to be careful not to get it where you don't want it. -Will probably damage some people's skin if used too often, as it literally melts your hair. -BURNS THE HELL OUT OF YOUR BALLSACK.
