This thing is great, but you have to adjust pressure
The manual is garbage and it doesn't tell you how to adjust the pressure. I suspect that the bad reviews are from people who didn't do this. I put a Watts pressure gauge on the end of my hose. The pump was set from the factory around 50PSI. I turned it up to almost 90psi. I know it says 75psi, but it goes higher than that. My auto-mixing pesticide sprayer sprays like twice as high now, it's awesome. I wholeheartedly recommend this pump.To turn up the pressure you need a 2mm or 2.5mm allen wrench. DO NOT turn the one that's exposed on the front of the pump, the one you want is under the cover near the top of the front and it's held on by one philips screw. Take the cover off, and there's an allen screw between some wire terminals. Maybe like don't touch those terminals if you have it plugged in (I left mine plugged in because I like water and electricity, but I also wanted to keep an eye on my pressure gauge as I turned it). Turning it clockwise raises the pressure. You can hear the switch in it click to turn the pump on, assuming you have pressure in your hose. I bet you could get 100psi out of it. 90 was fine for my use.

Prefect for my setup
works great. i have a rain barrel with a 3ft hose going to the pump and a 100ft hose the goes to the greenhouse. it feeds into the green house misting system. also i added a liquid fertilizer jug and a water timer so the system is fully automatic. its pretty powerful. i had to replace the first 3ft hose with a heavy duty hose because the one i had collapsed when the pump comes on.

It pumps, amazing!
So far so good, have used this for a little while to filter water in a off grid system and it has done what is asked of it, granted it's only pumped about 150-200 gal so far but thumbs up.

NOT for CONTINUOUS USE !
I believe for its intended purpose (boat, RV, or short application hose pressure boost) this unit would be 4 or 5 star. The construction quality seems good and the unit worked effectively to pressure boost my lawn tractor sprinkler ... before markedly overheating in continuous pumping. The written instruction manual is terrible, but as another reviewer reported, installation instructions can be deciphered by someone with modest mechanical knowhow.I returned the unit as it was not appropriate for my application with the following note:This unit in not defective. The online advertisement is incomplete. Specifically, here is your online advertisement:• 【Wide Applications】TDRFORCE 540E is your ideal RV water pump electric , automatic inline water pressure booster pump for home. With self priming function, the pump transfer fresh water with 110v ac can act as a freshwater washdown pump for boats, marine water pump, diaphragm pump and work for garden hose booster.• Your printed manual included at delivery states: “not appropriate for continuous use.” This should be clear in the online description. My intended application was to boost pressure to a travelling yard sprinkler requiring 4 hours of continuous use. The unit overheated by 45 minutes.Further feedback: IMPROVE the written instruction manual, have it edited by someone fluent in English if marketing to the English-speaking world.Increase the size of the manual and the size of the print to where it can be read by a 72 year old purchaser who needs larger print and graphics.Instructions should mention that blue plastic caps protect the internal mechanism of the pump, these must be removed as part of the installation.Diagrams should clearly label the input and output side of the pump as well as draw attention to the directional arrows on the pump, … (dark arrows on dark plastic background fittings are hard to see.)The printed manual states not to use Teflon/plumbers tape, debris may wash into the mechanism and void the warranty … so, it seems contradictory to include the roll of Teflon tape. Instructions in use of the tape so as not to have adulterants enter the pump may be appropriate.

Great pump!
Works great! I use it to transfer fresh water from the water bladder to our sailboat water tank. It empties 30gal in about 6 minutes.
