Winsor & Newton, Designers Gouache, Permanent White, 14 ml (Pack of 1)

This white is a must if you do any gouache or mixed media work. It’s really opaque, doesn’t go chalky, and blends smoothly with other colours. I use it for highlights and correcting bits in watercolour pieces too. You only need a small amount per session, so it lasts ages. It doesn’t crack or flake when dry either, which is a huge bonus.

Excellent product. I bought this specifically to paint highlights in blonde hair and it’s done such a good job. I can see all sorts of uses for this.

I made the mistake of purchasing Daler Rowney gouache and let me tell you that it was not very opaque or nice to work with. As a result, I had to purchase this one and this has been great. It isn't expensive, but it's very opaque and it does a really nice job of creating opaque highlights on gouache or watercolour paintings. Wouldn't use any other brand after trying this one.
