I bought this at it was the only one on Amazon I could find that is Made in the UK.I try and buy British whenever I can and it took me some time to find a shaving brush that is.I urge others to try and support British businesses. The price is great for a top quality item.My husband loves it. I also have the Gillette blades on Amazon subscription service.

Lovely. Really nice gift

This is the second Edwin Jagger shaving set I have bought for my husband. The first one is still going strong after daily use for at least ten years but is looking a bit worn outBought this to go in our new bathroom and it is very good quality, stylish and looks fabulous as well as being lovely to use (so he tells me).

razor and brush body good quality resin, and bristles mostly well fixed with little shedding after first few uses. the stand however is not sturdy and badly shaped with tendency for brush to fall off

What do you get a man who has everything, that is the question?He has spoken in the past on how he would love to get a professional shave, but can't afford to send him off to have this done regularly so decided I would buy him a nice razor set for his bathroom.This arrived and I wasn't disappointed in it's quality or it's look, and knew that it would be very welcomed by the hubby. It's not his every day razor but when he is home it is the razor he uses when he likes to spend time on getting a good, close shave.

So here we are 11 months in, used pretty much every day and started really well, but now the brush moults dreadfully. And yes, I rinsed it properly every time. I thought good shaving brushes last a lifetime.

The brush is a really full brush that feels great on the face, if you only used a standard brush you really fell the luxury you get with this one. The stand takes my Wilkinson Sword Protector 3 razor just right, which, as I've still got a supply of blades for it, I want to keep using for a while longer. The razor supplied looks very nice and feels substantial, but I've put it in a drawer until I run out of blades for the Protector 3.

So you can get a decent shave with much cheaper products, right? Very true, but these are lovely products and there's something much more luxurious and pleasurable about lathering up with an old school shaving brush rather than with a tinny skoosh from an aerosol. Bought as a gift for me originally, I then decided to buy as a gift for someone else too.
