Quality product. Just the right amount of audio ins/out. Nothing complicated. Works really well in my setup.

I bought this mixer with a view to starting out with some simple podcasting - there are smaller versions available, but I deliberately bought the extra capacity for when my projects develop and become larger and more complex.I've read reviews where people have slated these mixers for not having the stated number of channels, or such. It is a bit misleading. This has 4 mono inputs - XLR or balanced / unbalanced jack. Each of these gets 48V phantom power if you switch it on. There are then 5 stereo inputs (2 channels each) and a stereo subgroup. 4 + 10 + 2 = 16.Each of the channel strips is well specified with gain and compression on the mono strips, 4 band EQ AUX / FX Send - mute, solo, sub.Although you can send signals to off board effects processors, there is also an onboard unit with quite a range of effects.Strictly, i suppose it's a PA mixer or for recording single take performances.I use mine with GarageBand and the output from the mixer comes into GB as a single stereo source. I record music and voice over separately on different GB tracks. A benefit of this mixer for me is that I can customise channel strips and leave them set, even though I might not be using them.Any music tech student or home recording musician would do well to look at Behringer kit - you'll get great quality at a great price.Don't be tempted though by the software package - much of the stuff is freeware and you probably have far better DAW / podcasting software already. If you use Mac OS X Lion, much of the free stuff won't work anyway. The proprietary DAW package works well, but Macs have GarageBand which is far superior. Windows people, you're also bound to have your favourite package also.

A great little mixing desk, with great audio quality and fx. Basic but perfect for those little gigs and also home recording. Does exactly what I need it to, without paying a premium!

I have had this for a year now and I love the product. Build quality is very solid and design is excellent, sound quality out of board is very good and you have plenty of connections. The board makes everything easy to find which are all nicely illustrated. Product was very easy to install on the mac, i use many DAW software like Ableton, logic, garageband and Maschine which all work very well with the mixer when it comes down to the amount of inputs connected for you to manage. The downside and my biggest disappointment when it comes to this product is the fact that it does not allow you to do any multitrack /channel record to your software!! you can only record max, up to 2 channels at once!!, plus, you can't really hear your previous recording ontop of what your record at once.This product I think behringer has wrongly published on their website and not clearly state anywhere of the mixers limitations when it comes down to recording via usb. The product is excellent and am happy with it to manage my set but thats about it. I have my synth connected via stereo channels and 2 mics xlr and my guitar 1/4 channel and my drum I can only maschine but limited in terms to record. I recommend if you only want to manage your set but not if your after multitrack recording, best go for a firewire mixer.The delivery service was excellent and you the mixer has plenty of effects and channel inputs in front and the back. I have my krk 5 connected easily at the back of the main and subs 1-2 also. Product is nicely sized, not too big but medium in size that will not take so much of your desk space.

Great for recording podcasts in person.

I use this mixer for pre recording shows for hospital radio.I can say this is a very nice mixer, the mic gain is a nice future with the added pre / post fade, I also have used this mixer to do radio imaging,only downfall is the software on the website is not good but this don't affect the rating as I use mixpad for editing.It has a nice 4 band EQ on all channels and a nice compressor on the first 4 XLR channels, the fx are a nice touch but can be over powering.But I found to give it that extra rich sound on the mic ide recommend on using a DBX 286s Mic Processor as well.There are so many futures on this mixer it is one of the best I have seen for the value, you will not be disappointed!

Perfect inexpensive podcast, v/o and production mixer. Plugs straight into the USB socket on your computer, and (with a little extra wire lightning male to USB female camera adaptor) will work directly into your iPad. Versatile FX and mic compression built in. Has phantom power for professional standard mics, and a headphone socket for closed monitoring of mix or playback. Will not drive loudspeakers directly without an amplifier. The best on the market for low budget but high quality audio work.

This mixer is excellent. I'm used to professional desks and this little mixer sounds superb and it's very versatile being suitable for both recording and live production. It's also the perfect analogue mixer for internet radio stations. As it supports 4 mic and 4 stereo line inputs for music. It also has built in effects such as echo if you like that sort of thing!I'm bewildered how they do it for the money, unbelievable value.

Vi scrivo perche vedo recensioni (che siano vere o false) ma un po' discordanti. Ovviamente se vi arriva un prodotti difettoso può capitare trovo asurda la recensione arrivato difettoso(...eee cambialo). Cmq cerco di spiegare e aiutoare un po' di indecisi xche di mixer ormai c'è ne sono di tutti i colori!!!...Sono partito due mesi fa perché ho deciso di installare un impianto home theater + karaoke + giradischi (vinili) una cosa carina per passare i weekend on gli amici e anche piacere di un piccolo cinema in casa...e mi serviva una console che gestisse il tutto (al di la dell'amlificatore che ora èmontato dopo il mixer come finale...ma da li uso solo più il volume). Cmq Sono partito acquistando un mixer un po' diciamo poi economico da 60/100euro. Percarità funzionano ma si sentono disturbi e cmq ho notato ora con questo sotto mano che (tralasciando i materiali) che i suoni sono proprio diversi.Come prima cosa la qualità dei materiali è molto buona che soprattutto si ha un sito internet... Ovvero la casa madre a cui rivolgersi in caso di problemi e poi si trovano i pezzi di ricambio mentre invece quelli economici si rompe lo butti…Ho deciso di prendere questo qua un pelo più grosso che poi devo dire Non è così esagerato ma soprattutto non ho scelto la serie con la qx perché non mi servivano i microfoni wi-fi in quanto uso gli Shure sm58 è il beta58 preferisco col cavo. Collegato un impianto come dicevo Home Theater e fin lì Tutto bene, Si sente e lo equalizzata molto bene il compressore del suono ovvero con la manopola col grafico, per far capire in alto, gestisce molto bene i suoni. In quest'ultimo punto ed è stato oggetto anche di acquisto di questo mixer piacendomi i vinili ho un giradischi un po' più vintage che necessitava di preamplificatore e con questo mixer è e la valvola del compressore lo equilibra in una maniera spettacolare Quindi col giradischi funziona che è una meraviglia e mi sono evitato il pre amplificatore. Che se già quello costava €100 circa una medio li ho investiti su questo. Mi è arrivato da un po' di giorni è ancora presto però devo dire super soddisfatto.Se non vi interessa la USB per il wi-fi vi consiglio questo perché si risparmia un pezzo dei soldini.Nelle recensioni che leggevo alcuni chiedevano per il giradischi e vi devo dire che a me funziona molto bene anzi lo amplificato che è una meraviglia...ovvio tutto sta sempre nella qualita delle casse audio finali!...

Excellent rapport qualité prix. Fonctionne très bien et facile à utiliser. Des heures de divertissements assurées avec Behringer.
