I know it says 60 sheets but what thickness is that. Need to clip to hold something that is about 8mm in thickness.

Hi, David I've tried 60 sheets but it was too thick for the clip. It might work with thinner paper, say 70gsm. I've measured the actual gap on the clip dispenser and it's only 5mm wide. That would be the absolute maximum it would take. It looks as though it won't be suitable for your needs. Hope this helps.

is the dispenser compatable with the 40 clips ?

You need the 40 dispenser for the 40 clips (holds 40 sheets of paper) and the 60 dispense for the 60 clips (slightly larger, holds up to 60 sheets of paper).
