Brod & Taylor Dough Whisk, Heavy Duty Danish Dough Whisk

This should be the one and only hand dough whisk I will never need for this point forward. Solid construction, no wobbling, grippy rubber handle that's soft to touch, no bending using whisk with 2.2kg of dough. - good stuff. Cleans easily with the trade off being double the cost for that solid core. Worth the cost if you plan to use for longer than a year or with large amounts of dough.

Mixes well, strong so it doesn’t feel like it’s about to snap or bend in the hand. Best of all it can go in the dishwasher

Rock solid. Good size. Can be put through the dishwasher and is completely sealed so no water-ingress into the handle-void as with seemingly every other Danish whisk. Will be good value for money if it lasts as long as I suspect it will.

Much better quality than my previous one, very sturdy and the materials are excellent, very versatile, easy to use with its tactile handle and mixing is easy to do. It is more expensive than the wooden handle ones but Brod & Taylor dough whisk will last a lifetime, so in the long run you save by not having to keep re buying them.

if you are thinking that this is just like any other Dough Whish… you’re completely wrong. I bake sourdough almost every week and one of the jobs i would hate was to clean up my cheap dough whisk that i had… that was until i purchased this Brod & Taylor dough whisk! Long gone are the days of trying to clean the metal wire and all its joints and no matter how long i spent cleaning, it always looked like there was still some residue left. The Brod & Taylor dough whisk feels so premium and very ergonomic to handle, the silicone handle provides a great grip, control, better hygiene than the traditional wooden models and it means it’s also dishwasher safe. It has an extra thick stainless steel wire that goes around the all handle to provide strength and durability, in fact i’m sure i will be able to pass it on to my daughter in future as i’m sure it will last a lifetime. Tried my hardest to find any negative point about this whisk but couldn’t find any after using it weekly over the last 8 months even when using it to mix/incorporate 6kg+ sourdough batch or thick cookie dough, but this Whisk just thicker all the boxes and performed brilliantly at every task it set out to. If you are looking for a Great quality Whisk that will last you a lifetime and feels great while using, then look no further, best investment you’ll make on your baking journey.

Great for parts of the Panettone making process; it is great with ‘sloppier’ mixtures but I use my hands instead when the dough is a ‘tighter’ mix. Lovely item. Heavy duty. Well made. Really helpful item.

Well made and very sturdy, decent length. Like that it’s dishwasher safe probably unlike the wooden handled ones.

Great whisk, super strong as the metal part goes right through the handle so gives it more stability.

The right tool for the job. There's something about mixing dough with your bare hands that gives you a kind of satisfaction that you don't get with an electric mixer. And sometimes you just want to quickly mix up dough for a loaf of bread or pancake batter, but don't feel like pulling out the mixer or using your bare hands. That's where this dough mixer comes in. This very well built, heavy duty dough mixer is up to the task of mixing light wet batters or dense, heavy bread dough. It makes quick work of mixing together wet and dry ingredients without making a mess. It's easy to clean and it's sealed where the metal hook meets the handle so junk doesn't get stuck in the crevices. Like a quality knife, the metal dough hook goes all the way through the handle. The handle is covered with a nice grippy silicon material. There are cheaper hand dough mixers available for half the price, but this one is built to last a lifetime and is a joy to hold in your hands, and a joy to use.

Ich schreibe selten eine Bewertung. Aber der Teigrührer ist einfach nur Klasse. Das ist echt ein Teil für die Ewigkeit. Die meisten Teigrührer haben stark verzweigte Drähte, die man sehr schlecht reinigen kann. Das ist bei diesem anders. Alles so super leicht zum saubermachen. Auch keine Holräume wo sich das Wasser stauen kann, wie in manch anderen Teigrührer.Liegt sehr gut in der Hand und man kann super Teige anrühren. Lieber etwas mehr Geld ausgeben, aber dafür ein tolles Arbeitsgerät. Kann ich weiter empfehlen.

Works and cleans up better that expected. I've only hand washed so can't attest to dishwasher safe. Would buy again and should've bought sooner. Larger than expected but ideal in size when used. Very sturdy. Perfect gift for someone who bakes.
