Q: Can I run a laptop from it?

Yes, you can. Make sure you charge the Power Pack regularly otherwise goes completely empty and you may not be able to charge and use again. My one broke down after 3 months not charged.

Q: Does this replace the battery pack that comes with Celestron telescopes (i.e. the one one with several large batteries in)?

yes 8 battery's will only last 3/4 hour,battery pack is a very good buy

Q: Does this come with a cable which connects to a telescope?? NexStar 8se

Yes. You plug the 12v cigarette lighter cable, which comes with the device, into one of the 12v sockets on the device, and the other end into the telescope. See photo at top.

Q: Will this work with my meade lx65 mount

The PowerTank is essentially a 12 Volt power supply if your Meade mount requires a 12 Volt supply, then the PowerTank will work for you!
