Royal & Langnickel SG-303 5 Piece Round Set- White, 26.9 x 0.9 x 8.4 cm

I reviewed the Royal and Langnickel pack of ten brush two minutes ago an these brushes are the same excellent quality for the money. I haven't used them all yet, but the ones I have used perform extremely well, so I presume the rest will be much the same. I was impressed. And yes, they are very comfortable to hold. They're probably not quite professional quality, but certainly student quality.

Although I do try and take care of my brushes, I'm often guilty of not cleaning them properly or just sticking them in a jamjar on the kitchen windowsill and forgetting about them for weeks on end. These brushes have so far fared well under this hellish regime and a couple of them have even survived a close encounter with Mod Podge on a couple of occasions. A great range of sizes, nice grip and easy to hold - what's not to love? Highly recommended by a moderately gifted amateur.

These are pretty good quality brushes and at a good price. There are a good selection of sizes, smallish-to largest; the pack does not include a small enough brush for very fine detail. One brush did have a long bristle that I had to trim but after doing this it didn't affect the use of the brush. They are very comfortable in the hand and give a smooth result. Would definitely buy this brand again.

I've been looking for watercolour brushed for a while now, and the best ones seem to have extremely high prices. I am delighted with this set, as it is very good quality (I had brushes from them before) and they are very affordable. Probably the best price I found so far. Very good for watercolour painting. I'd higly recommend them! Delivery was quicker than advise, so a bonus for me!

I love these brushes. Was a recommendation on YouTube by a professional painter. They were on here for just under six pounds. I bought flat set and round set to use with some neocolor ii crayons and an blown away by their quality and performance. I esp love the flat set. Can’t recommend enough! Love the grip too.

My review is really aimed at the average user or starter. Consider buying these Round brushes if you are going to be doing any medium/small scale and intricate murals using Acrylic paints/glaze, or for watercolour painting. The 5-pack (#SG303/SG-Round 5) includes: No10. 25mm long/5mm wide brush head No6. 18mm long/4mm wide brush head No4. 15mm long/3mm wide brush head No2. 12mm long/2mm wide brush head No0. 10mm long/1mm wide brush head The No. 10,6 & 4 will be most suitable for acrylic paint/glaze and smallish detail in murals, and good for watercolour. The No. 2 & 0 I can't see being much use for murals using acrylic paint/glaze. More suitable probably for those who use watercolour/watered down acrylic paint. The No 0 is so small I guess it'll come in useful to those who are somewhat seriously into painting in finer detail but other than that not much usefulness. My No2 and No0 is already consigned to the pen holder until death do us part probably. Very light to hold, clear flexible plastic shaft and comfortable ergonomical Softgrip for holding during painting. The packaging you probably won't use to restow brushes (you can if you wished to) however it clearly states the brush sizes (in art sizing speech not millimetres). Still all-round good value for money though, and don't forget....FREE P&P

These are much better quality than I was expecting for the price I paid. They are nice and light when painting with them. The added bonus for me is that they are comfortable because of the soft rubber grip. They hold paint and/or water well and the fine points on them are impressive. A great buy that will last me for many years.

Great paintbrushes, have rubber grips which is a great plus for me. The brushes maintain their tip quite well, they're snappy and springy and holds water well enough. These brushes are more useful towards gouache and acrylic painting, because for watercolour, their water-holding capacity can be a but less compared to natural hair brushes. Brushes are super easy to clean as well. I'm happy to own another set of low maintenance brushes.

These brushes are excellent for acrylic paint, which is the reason I purchased them. I had a very old set from years ago & wasn't even sure I'd be able to find the same brushes again, but I got lucky. I'm so glad these are still being made! High quality at a great price. These brushes will last you for years & years of use if you take good care of them & follow brush care protocols. I had my old set for around 4 years with heavy use, then I quit for 10 years & just went back to painting. I expect these to last me at least another 4 years so at this price that's a great bargain. They have a good variety of brush size as well & there are other sets available, for example, flats. I highly recommend them.

Bought them for gouache painting. Out of the set of five, three were really good, one brush had the hairs slightly at an angle with the handle (still works fine if looks a bit odd but points to sub optimal quality control) and one had a few hairs sticking out which needed pruning. Once that was done all came to a fine point, don’t shed hairs and have a reasonable ability to hold water. The soft grip is a bit thinner than I’d like-I have arthritis and was hoping for a thicker grip, but they are still better than a bare brush.
